This is a useful game for practicing vocabulary and antonyms. It might work best with intermediate level students. This game could also work with advanced level students, however it might not be that challenging.
This activity is designed for beginners and it helps to practice and memorize antonyms. The game has different levels so there is a good opportunity for students to learn new words and their antonyms. I have tried it with 2 children and they enjoyed it and learnt many new words.
We can use this game to teach, practice and/or test knowledge of synonyms and antonyms. My friend, who is a low intermediate EFL learner, has learnt several words while playing this game. So, not only kids, but also adults learn quickly with games.
Word Frog provides practice in matching antonyms, synonyms, and homonyms. The target word appears on the frog, with the word category underneath defining the relationship to be matched.
