Alice is a bot (robot) with A.I. (artificial intelligence). You can chat with her, and she'll speak back to you. She never gets bored or tired of talking with you. She can answer math questions, tell you where most countries are and what their capitals are,and she even knows a few pretty funny jokes. She at times makes mistakes, but overall performs very well. She can understand you a lot better if you type carefully. Your students can chat with Alice to practice English, but they have to try to type and spell carefully. They need to take their time, and think about good grammar, good vocabulary and making good sentences. They can use their conversation as a practice time to apply what they have learned in English. You can chat with Alice anytime. The first 2500 exchanges each month have more animation and even have speech. I tried chating with her for half an hour and I should confess that I fell in love with her! She can nicely initiate discussions or answer your questions. A great tool to both practice language and also learn new things from her.

This is a really fun activity & game. It is really interesting even for the advanced level students. You have to be quick and know the words related to clothing. I found this activity by following the link shared by Addeh. Just wanted to share it with everyone else:-) Try it!

vay Karine jan really it was a very interesting game. I played this game many times and finally won. Of course it promotes the students' vocabulary and reading skills. I liked this game very much.

That's good that you have tried. I have tried this activity myself and I even learned a few words such as 'undershirt' if not this activity I guess I wouldn't know that word:-0 Anushik jan, I couldn't really win, so CONGRATULATIONS!!!

This is by the way a great activity. I have tried on my students and I have got wonderful results. Of course, I have given to my 7th and 8th grade students as I think they could write about the topic better. Do u know what the results where; in the letter they reflected about their aims and future profession. I think that this activity is a free writing activity which can even enhance studets' imagination.

A fun game to develop parts of speech. It asks you to write many words then comes up with a funny story. When you have trouble remembering it even has an information page to help the player. Best for players who have sufficient grammar knowledge (11 and up)

This game helps students to improve their knowledge on pronouns. They are given 10 multiple choice questions, If they have chosen incorrect option they have to try again. I used this game as a follow up activity as a part of their homework (after explainig the pronouns in the class). They told me they liked it and they even noted that this game helped them to understand the usage of pronouns better.

A very good and engaging tool to use in the classroom and have a follow up discussion. Everybody loves spekaing about their wishes, this way they will watch a video, have some vocabulary on the topic and then express their wishes. I think this way the students will be very engaged in the discussion and improve both their listening and speaking skills. This will best work with adults or young adults, intermediate level. I haven't used it yet in my classes, but I will for sure:)

A great online screaming video program featuring famous people reading books for children aloud. Videos also have subtitles. Besides, each book includes activities and lesson ideas to provide guidance for teachers. I have tried one story with an adult of elementary level.

This is a very good game for developing kids' spelling. It helps them write the name of the animal guessed, The game also gives a chace to have reading as they have to read the hints in order to be able to write the answers.

This activity is very effective for beginner level students. They can have fun and learn letters with the help of listening and reading. I have tried it with a 9 year old child and she enjoyed it.

This game serves better for upper elementary learners as they have to possess certain vocabulary in order to read the riddles and match them to the corresponding words. I have piloted this game with my 17-18-year-old students of that level and it worked very well.

The aim of this game is to practice linking words and use appropriate once in a given context. Children also practice reading and learn unknown words. I have tried this game with an adult having beginner level of proficiency and she enjoyed the game as well.

This is a great activity designed for children to listen to a story about firefighters and then do an interactive activity by learning new vocabulary connected with clothes. I have tried this activity with children who really enjoyed it and learnt new words connected wit clothes. Besides, they have learnt a song about firefighters.

This is fun and interactive activity. It helps the students practice verb be and have in the present tense.

Thank you Armine. I have used these podcasts with my student. She enjoyed them very much because she was able to listen to native speakers and also do some grammatical exercises we have passed. These podcasts are also good for practicing scanning and skimming. So those who want to develop these skills they can use these podcasts. Tully speaking, after these podcast my student has become more attentive to the details and has begun to pay much attention to the detail and gist of the information.

It is a very funny game on Preposition. I am very fond of having my learners play it. they do it with a great pleasure.

This game is for practicing prepositions. I have piloted it with three 17-18-year-old students and it has worked very well. It is both fun and uneful as eventually it's a grammar prcatice game.

This is a listening exercise which aims to assist learners' intonation and stress. For this song, upper intermediate students should listen and fill in the blanks with no help or discussion. They should then check what they have written with classmates. Once the lyrics are completed, students should be encoureged to sing along with the song, in order to practise the stress and intonation. I practised it with my student when having tutoring and it helped greatly.
