This lesson could work with the presidential campaign. High school level. Students consider a visual text and draw conclusions based on what they see. They explain their conclusions by explaining the evidence used to make that determination.

I am going to try this with my students. I have them reading Hamlet (graphic novel) and they love it. This will give them an opportunity to write and analyze the text/characters even more.
