From the low-lying coastlands to the snow capped mountains of Kenya, Africa, Vinie Chwani aka Kenyan Boy incorporates the diversity of his homeland into the nuances of his music. Honing an international influence fronted with a universal appeal, he combines the best of reggae, hip hop, and pop with the heart and soul of his vocals to get people around the world singing along. A mastermind in the studio with a knack for collaborations, Vinie also recently launched his own production company, Kenyan Boy Productions, and helped to co found the music group Afro-Geng. Comprised of 6 artists from diverse backgrounds, the energetic sextet recently released their debut, "Take Over," which has been described as more a movement than music.
