Collaborative Tools This website is very useful and mentions close to 150 collaboration tools than students can use. From sticky notes to blogs, to blogs to chat rooms; this website has so many options that we can use as collaboration tools. This can be used to find blogs or chat rooms if I am doing a lesson on a book that requires student responding to each other.

This website is great for teachers to explore different options in the field of collaborative tools. All of the links that are provided have explanations of how to use the tools and easy ways for teachers to use them in the classroom. Another great thing about this website is that it is a part of Wikispaces, which is a very easy tool to use and great for teachers to get new ideas for the classroom. These links can be used for all different grade levels and all different subject matter. They also help students to become more familiar with technological tools that can help them later in schooling and in life in general.

Many of the links provided on this page I have not heard of so they would be worth looking at. I would use this site for help with classroom related stuff like screen shots for all computers in the room.

This is a great website for teachers and students to use for presentations. It's an eye opener to use besides the usual PowerPoint and e-mail for school.

I chose this website because it gives so many options on ways to use collaboration in your classroom. Collaboration and communication with the community is so important, and having a variety of options is very beneficial.

Educational Games: This website has more fun games than educational games, but there are a few I really liked. There is a section of games that directly correspond with certain elementary books, such as Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I would use these games at the end of the book as a way to review with the students as well as keep the book fresh in their minds.

Fun Brain is a website which has many different games on it, under different categories which are aimed towards different subject matters.

Funbrain is a great website for games which actually provide an educational stimulation. I have interacted with the games and as the student completes a game, the difficulty level slowly increases, testing their abilities and cognitive knowledge.

this website is the #1 educational site for kids K-8th grade. Gives the students a wide variety of different games all related to education. This would be great in the classroom for example there is a game called math baseball where you work on your math problems and its all correlated into sports like baseball

Gives students a fun way to lean subjects you want them to learn. I'm sure I will be a fun teacher so I could use this site.

This website has many games for all subjects. I could use this as a "reward". If I have computers in my classroom, they could spend some time on this website playing games, while learning and enhancing different subject skills.

this is a great educational site. I would use it for the playground section as it is a favorite of my daughter and she showed me some fun games to play on it, and I liked the reading portion with the mad libs fill ins and games. Mad libs were a favorite of mine as a child and I'm sure kids will have fun creating funny stories.

I love this website, because it would be very appealing to students. This game looks exactly like an arcade game, so students would be interested, because they wont even know how educational it is. I would love to use this in the classroom for a Fun Friday day, so they are still learning, but getting their free time for getting all their hw in on time.

Fun Brain has games mainly for math and reading. I would use this for students who struggle in these two subjects. They could choose their game depending on the topic they are struggling with yet they would have choices to target their interests.

This is a website that makes math fun. It is full of math games and teaching strategies. This has math fun for older students, as in middle and high schoolers. This site has the potential to make kids want to learn math.

This website features many categories of math that can help students with their skills. It includes games and fun activities for students to practice with math. The math areas that this website includes are prealgebra, algebra, pre-calculus/trig, and geometry. This is a great math website with a lot of activities for middle school students.

I chose this as my Educational site. This has several games designed to reach all the grade levels in elementary. A site like this will benefit not only the teacher but the students as well. Depending on what grade I teach in the future, I could use this for as low as Kindergarden or as high as the 5th grade. For Kindergarden and 1st grade, they have a game where the student needs to help out a monkey to put the days of the week in order. The New York Times featured this site as an award-winning games and apps, which is pretty cool.

Educational Games (2): This website contains games for students K-5, featuring a variety of topic areas. These games were created or approved by certified school teachers and are free to use. They can be used on the computer or on a device such as an iPad, etc. I see myself using this as a parent of young children more than in the classroom as I plan to teach at the secondary level; however, I found the website to be very appealing for kids and the games are fun and engaging.

This website, like other educational game websites, has a whole array of games based on grade level. I really like how each game has the standards that it aligns with. Again, I would allow my students to play this to help strengthen certain content area skills. I might encourage parents to allow students to play at home.

I have used this website before, but I really like it, because there are so many different levels and topics to choose from. A lot of the games have challenges, so they can work toward beating their score and getting to the next level. I would use this during centers, so I could have a small amount of IPads or laptops that they could work on.

This website would be good for different strategies, puzzles, and games. This will help with math and reading. I would use this for help for students.

This is a Science site. I chose this one because of the amount of information it had. There are experiments that you can perform with your students as a teacher. It has some cool facts and games as well. Also, there are some quizzes and lessons to test the students with how much knowedge they remember from the day beore when teaching on a Science lesson.

There are lesson plans, videos, photos, ways to use technology to stay active, assessment ideas, websites that contain other useful information, etc. It encourages children to be active and fit and has a support network for teachers. This would be a great resource for teachers to use to find new and exciting lessons to use with their students.

PE Central is loaded with thousands of lesson plans, games, team building activities, assessments that can be shared around. There are different activities for every grade level.

This website would be very useful for teachers in physical education. They give ideas for lessons and assessments to do. They also have a section of how to adapt to some kids which would be very useful.

P.E central give you many different physical education games and lesson plan ideas. I would use this to find lesson plans for my classes.

Aplusmath is a website that gives the students a different way to ask for help. It has a homework helper. This homework helper allows you to pick what type of problem it is. Then it allows you to place your problem on to the screen where it then checks to make sure your answer is current or incurrent.

A Plus math is a website that the students will enjoy but also a website that is useful for teachers. There are games that the students can play, even games involving algebra and geometry so this website could be useful for a lot of different grades. There are also flashcards and a homeworker helper. Teachers can use this website and print off worksheets for their students as well.

Language Arts/Reading (2): This website is a great teacher resource that contains interactives, printouts, and other useful tools for the classroom. It is well-organized and easy to use. It is broken down into age categories/grades (elementary through high school). There is a section for parents that contains extended activities, projects, podcasts, etc. that students can complete outside of school which I think is a neat feature. The resources gathered on this website are numerous and helpful. As a future teacher, I would see myself using the Classroom Resources section in order to supplement my lesson plans and include technology in the classroom.

Other: I think this website is a mush-have for all teachers. It has contains several resources, including lesson plans and other student activities. There are also professional development sessions available that would be beneficial to new teachers, especially.

I would use this website for the lesson plans (a couple already piqued my interest!) and I played around with some of the games and can see how it will help students strengthen their writing skills.

This website hits on all subjects and get very specific in the field at which wants to be studied. It has many different games and would be good for all age groups.

This is a great educational game website. It has a varitey of games for every subject. This could be used as assessment or review. This website will come in handy in the future.

This site provides games for many different subjects. When children play games that are fun and educational they don't really realize they are playing a learning game. These games all look fun which will get them interested in playing them. I would probably try to get in a computer lab every once in a while to allow children to play games for each subject to help get them used to using a computer and also to have them learning about all the different subjects.

Educational Games: Students can learn while playing Animal Games, Art Games, Music Games, Math Games, Logic Games, Geography Games, Memory Games, Science Videos, etc. These are very interactive games that allow students to apply what they have learned in class to online games! I would use this in my class as a reward and a time filler if there was extra time at the end of the day or after a lesson.

This is a great website with a ton of different games for students of all ages from 1st grade to high school these games vary in the subjects. I feel that these games can make the learning fun in the class room. I would use this in my class room during some free time the students may have. I will allow them to play on the website in their grade level. I could also tell them what subject they need to be working on also.

This site has every subject on it that kids can play to learn certain subjects. I would use this site to help me teach the students certain subjects.

This interactive website could be very useful in very many different situations in the classroom. There are many different topics like The Civil War, Immigration, Continents, and so many more things. Students can use this website when they are learning about any of the following topics. There are games and also informational readings to go with them.

This is similar to the math site I posted except it is for social studies. Again, the students pick which area they need/want to practice and they can click that area to play games pertaining to that section. I click on the states/capitals. If you click on the states, it says the capital, the flag, the motto, etc. This would be a great site if you want students to do research on different states and then design the flag for that state. When working on a geography unit, this site would be very helpful. Students can practice their state recognition easily as well as learn about the states. This site could also be utilized for current event research. If a social studies teacher wanted to give a list of current event resources, this would be a great resource.

This website is absolutely full of things for kids to do. This website doesn't have just games, they also have places where you can learn things about the different flags or about the different states in America or many other things. There is a section that has current events that are going on in the world. I think this is a great website for students to spend time on.
