Kids.gov: The U.S. Government's Official Web Portal for Kids... Aside from the extensive amount other grade level appropriate subjects and topics, this website has great science resources for teachers and students. There are many videos that break down subject matter, like how orbits work or what fossils tell about time. I would use it ideas on different science experiments and definitely for the videos, since sometimes you never know what you are getting with YouTube.

This site provides many different subject areas and options for lesson plans. The site says they have over four thousand to choose from so I feel this site would be helpful. This site would be most useful when looking for ideas to go along with a lesson plan that I already created or to get ideas of subjects to make a lesson plan.

This also has free lesson plans for all grades, and all subjects. You could create a lesson plan too! The teacher could also get the magazine for this website. Again, I would use this for a resource and ideas.

I would have my students use this website to use when doing projects. This would help them assign tasks when they are working and they would know what needs to be done for the project.

This website has simple facts about each state. This also has current events. This website has K-5, 6-8, teachers, and parents. I chose this website because this would be easy for the students to use when they need current events. I would have the students use it to find current events that they would understand.

This is an overall great website for students to use that represents all of the subject areas. Students can go to a general content area, then go more specific and find a game or resource that could really help them in terms of a project or paper they need to complete. I feel teachers could really utilize this, and provide their students with a great resource.

I like all the different science topics you can click on to get extra help. Also the interactive games and activities help give the students more of an understanding of the topic.

Games and puzzles for teachers to use and have students use for extra learning, this would be good to include in the curriculum for different lessons.

Language Arts: I chose this resource because it gave lots of ideas for lessons the teacher could use for language arts throughout the day. I liked it because each lesson indicated what grade level the lesson was created for.

Science: I chose this resource because it offers a lot of different topics that might be studied throughout the course of the year along with activities and lessons that can be used with those topics. I could browse through the activities based on my lesson plans and incorporate some of these activities to engage my students.

Science: I found this to be a good resource because it sections off the different topics in science and has great videos for different topics and lessons. I could browse this website to find videos to show in my classroom to instill different lessons, standards, etc.

Education Games: I chose this resource because I remember playing it as a kids, and I do think many of the games help with problem solving and critical thinking. This is another website I could allow my students to get for a brain break or once they complete their work.

Collaborative/ Web 2.0 tool: I chose this resource because I know it is something that is currently being utilized in the schools and student are able to communicate and collaborate with the teacher and students. I could create a Seesaw page for my individual classroom if it is not something being used in the school district I work.

Education Games: I chose this resource because I liked how it provided games for all ages in many different subjects. I could allow students to get on this site if they finish their work early.

PE/Health: I chose this resource because it gives many different lesson plan ideas that can be used in the everyday classroom. The lesson plans I reviewed were straightforward and easy to modify to use in content-based lessons.

I chose this website because it offers a variety of ways to incorporate Web 2.0 tools in the classroom. I would use this resource to come up with ideas for my students to collaborate, create a video, or teach content in a new way.

Collaborative Tools/Web 2.0 - This site is a very useful tool for teachers to learn how support their students, it provides lots of resources for teachers to use with their students

Collaboration/Web 2.0 tool: I chose this resource because it is great for students to be able to work together on projects without having to meet face to face. This could be implemented into my classroom by assigning a group project using google slides, google docs, etc.

I included this resource because I am getting my special education endorsement, and I think this is a tool I could utilize for students who are nonverbal that I may have. I like how it includes picture cues and the words underneath to indicate the words they might be trying to communicate.

I included this resource because it gives a wide variety of applications that other teachers agree are great for classroom use. These apps help with many of the 21st century learning skills I will need to be teaching in my classroom, so I think this is an important source to note to aid me in that process

I like this resource because it offers a creative way to check for understanding and reading comprehension in students. It is free and allows the teacher to create their own questions, quizzes, and more. This would be a great tool to utilize in my classroom to incoroporate technology to check students reading comprehension, understanding, and if they are actually reading.

I chose this resource because it gives multiple teaching strategies that you can implement. I would use these strategies to help with vocabulary teaching, literacy help, and prior knowledge strategies for all subject areas.

I chose this resource because you can use it for all subject areas; math, science, social studies, and literacy. It gives you the option to choose form standards, grade level, and subject area and then gives you lesson plans! I would implement the lesson plans and ideas into my classroom.

I chose this site because I am a big fan of public media. I would use this site to show students a credible resource for news and history.

This is a great science resource because it gives you the choice to pick from many topics within science. After you pick the topic, it then gives you lesson plan and unit ideas. I would implement these ideas into my teaching when talking about space.
