This is a website that can be used for language arts. It is an extension of the McGraw Hill basal readers. It suggests activities that go along with the stories the children will read in class. I will use this website if I teach out of a McGraw Hill book.

"Complement classroom instruction and engage students in online activities, assignments and discussions that allow for deeper participation inside and outside the classroom". This website is a great platform for having another form of communication with students and families. I could see myself using this website as a tool to stay connected with parents where important links, documents and other information could be posted. Depending on the grade level, I could also use this to have students post their work to.

This website we did a Hour of Code activity on and I thought it was pretty neat. Since kids are learning this in school, it's a great way to introduce it to them early on so kids can become more digital age citizens.

This is an overall great website for students to use that represents all of the subject areas. Students can go to a general content area, then go more specific and find a game or resource that could really help them in terms of a project or paper they need to complete. I feel teachers could really utilize this, and provide their students with a great resource.

This Science website has an endless amount of games that students can play. I think this website would be a good activity for students when you have just finished learning about a topic and then you let them on this website to play the games about the current topic. The games are fun but yet also education at the same time so the students are still learning while they are playing these games.

You can specify grade level and the domain, and then it gives ideas to use in the classroom to help the students learn that specific task.
