Lesson Plans: I chose this website because it is a great resource to use for creating lessons. It contains thousands of pre-made lesson plans in a variety of subject areas. There are language arts, math, science, and PE, just to name a few. I think this would be a great website to use to get ideas for new lessons then make adjustments to make them your own.

This site has many different lesson plans and makes it very easy for teachers to navigate around the website. This site also makes it so teachers, parents, and students can use this site very easily. I could use this site to create work sheets for my lesson plans. This site also makes it easier for teachers to find lesson plans by subject.

This site not only provides lesson plans but also other things like classroom maps that may be useful. I like that this site is free and the submissions are by other teachers. This site would be helpful when looking for more options for lesson plans and other classroom related stuff.

9 Writing Lesson Plans - 4 views

Lesson/unit plans are very demanding for teachers, and it's absolutely necessary to have several resources for building an effective plan. This site includes several writing activities. In addition, teachers can use these ideas to get students interested in writing (the different forms of writing are also included).

2nd Grade Lesson Plans | Teacher.org - 1 views

  •
Math: This site is built of lesson plans for all subjects but when I looked specificially for math lesson plans for 2nd grade, I found there were only 9 listed, and although that sounds low in # I thought it allowed me to think of other ideas around the same thought process that could be developed into more lessons

Since teachers are always in need of lesson plans, a website including multiple subjects with multiple lesson plan ideas would be ideal. I chose this site because it provides such a wide variety of things--from all subjects and K-12. Teachers can use this site for developing ideas in a lesson.

I chose this site as my Lesson Plan/Teaching Sharing. This site has many options. You get to choose what country you want, the grade you desire, the subject, and if you want it in English or Spanish. I know most people would probably not care about the different languages or countries it displays. But, this is an imporant tool to have. If you have a classroom full of ESL's, then this site would come in handy.

As a teacher there are going to be lessons that are more directed to teaching the students a particular topic but it may not be very interesting. This website has creative lesson plans that are out of the box and get the students involved in learning through experiments and play. These lessons would be great to do after a long lesson on something that may be difficult for students.

Classroom Architect - 0 views

Before a teacher goes into the first day of school, it's beneficial to have a layout plan. I chose this site because it implements a classroom floor plan. This allows you to be the architect of your classroom, i.e., objects can be dragged across the grid.

I chose this site because of the way it's organized. It's clean and it's simple. I would use it becuase it has a wide variety of lesson plans organized by grade. It also has lots of other things like graphic organizers, projects, managements techniques, etc. These things can be hard to come up with on your own and know they will work for your students. It's nice to get ideas, feedback, and insipration from teachers and tried and true projects and lessons.

Shows many different examples of lesson plans and gets very specific in each one. It is a little bit tougher to get through but once it is understood how it works it seems it would be good.

I really like this website because of the amount of information available. The site provides links in plant groups and so it's easy to scroll down to the type of plant you need to know about. I like the lesson plans and the links to plant literature too. I could see myself using the lesson plans from this site.
