Politico is a news site that tries to stay unbiased. It is a good source of everyday news that can help me stay "in-the-know" with current events that may affect me as a future teacher.

This site provides articles, resources and videos to help teachers learn about new tools to use in the classroom. I would probably use this site by picking out a new resource here and there and t esting it out in the classroom

DOGO News has fun articles for kids on current events, science, sports, and more! There are also lots of stories, pictures, videos, games and the DOGO news map for kids! Add your comments, read reviews of cool websites, and more! What a great tool to have this can make lesson relevant to the "NOW' .

I chose this site because it has news articles for kids about science. I would use this website to get ideas on activities to do with my students as well as incorporate news articles into my lessons so they stay up to date on the science going on around them.

I choose this site because it gives out kid friendly news. This site can be used in my future classroom by showing my students the news before conducting a social studies lesson.

Apples for teachers is more then just a website it helps keep the teacher informed on all the new resources available for their students. This website is for teacher that teaches all grade levels in elementary. This site has fun activities do to with their students. It also haves new articles related to education, stories and research available to them by this site.

I chose this site because of the unique topics they have. Things like Groundhogs Day, and Chinese New Years, which may fit perfectly into your lesson, but, may be hard to find material on. This site is also neat because it has games you can have the students play, or it has things like coloring pages that you can print out (which may work better if you don't have access to enough computers for all your students to play on at once).

Physical Education (2): This website contains teaching materials to use in the classroom as well as valuable resources for teachers on a variety of topics in order to research new trends, etc. There are journal articles, lesson plans, worksheets to use with students, etc. This website is geared towards teachers and administrators. As a teacher, this would be a great place to find access to new and relevant information for the classroom.

This is a good website to use for social studies. It provides current events that are interesting to kids. There is also information about other countries around the world. This website has great picture taken from National Geographic. I will use this in my classroom with children to learn about different countries and keep up with current events.

Interesting science info!

This Blog is made by a teacher and she has many posts that are links to multiple sties related to new educational practices and activities to do in the classroom. The links can be a great way to keep up with new strategies and stay informed on educational practices.

This website is ideal for finding new lessons and activities to do with students. I also like how there are two separate links for teachers and kids in order for everyone in the classroom to benefit. The lessons and activities found on the website are extra help for teachers to make new activities to keep students interested in material. It is always helpful as a teacher to have extra help with creating lessons and experiments.

For this website it has a variety of different apps and websites for students to use along with the teacher, for example there is an app or website that is called News-O-Matic so elementary students can understand daily news. How I would use this in the classroom is I can use the different apps or website in the classroom for the class to use for assignments like current events.

Other This website is made to help out new teachers in the schools. It includes how to deal with veteran teachers, principals, and parents. Each situation goes further in depth to help new teachers. This website could be helpful to myself because if I have any questions, I can relate to this website for further help.

I like this site because it tells why it is important to use the technology in the classroom. This page also shows what other people think about a site wither its good or bad. I can use the information on this site to find ideas for my classroom. I can also use this site to talk to other teachers about what works in a classroom and what doesnt.

This is a great site for those interested in web 2.0. This gives you groups, events, and forums to help. Its a free site and is a good way to stay up to date on alot of new things in education. I like the forum because it gives alot of personal experiences to help new teachers.

Science (2): This is an awesome website for Science in the classroom. It is a great resource for students because it is eye-catching and contains a lot of "Why?" information that students find interesting and engaging. There are relevant news articles on a variety of topics. photos, book suggestions, interactives, and resources for teachers. This would be a great supplemental tool for teachers to use in the classroom.

I like this website because it features lots of articles and pieces all related to current affairs and politics. It would be a great resource for exposing middle schoolers and high school students to some cutting edge social studies issues. I would use these articles as discussion starters in my class.

I think it can be somewhat difficult to relate social studies topics to current events, but it's something that will be important in order to make s.s topics more relatable. This site has so many current and relevant topics. I could use this site to help connect content or even just explore for myself to stay current on news.

I choose this site because it gives you ideas on how to make your classroom tools more creative. This site can be used in my future classroom by putting more effort into lesson plans.

This website really caught my eye because of the video aspect. It is a series that will help teachers deal with questions that students will have and how to help students understand concepts on a higher level. The videos are done by real teachers and educators. Working with high school students, especially as a new teacher in the field, can be a difficult feat and every bit of help that is available is a good thing.

This website would be very helpful for any teacher. The online language arts games give students an excuse to be on the computer, which they enjoy, and still be learning new content. Also, because the website has games for all grade levels, teachers can alter what games students should be playing based on their individual level. These games would be very easy to work into a lesson plan
