This website would be very helpful for any high school science educator. The resources on this website range everywhere from science fair project ideas to fun science clips to share with students, to ACT prep questions. There is also a variety of fields of science including chemistry, biology, and earth sciences. Teachers can use these resources in the classroom daily.

This science website is packed full of information. It has links for all different types of science from chemistry to earth science. Something that I found very important is it have video clips with worksheets for all departments in science, lab ideas and lesson plans on how to teacher the lab to the class, images and photos, and games that can be played by the students as a way of reviewing and learning about the topic.

I chose this site because it is helpful in explaining any subject to a student. I would use this as a site for students to visit at home to prepare for class. Khan Academy gives well presented work throughs of many math and science problems, as well as other subjects.

Science Fair Project Ideas - 2 views

Science needs to intertwine activities into the learning process. This site popped at me because it included so many project ideas for a wide array of sciences (chemistry, physics, astronomy, engineering, computer science, etc.). Teachers can use this site as a resource for building a well-rounded assessment tool bag.

Science: I chose this website because it has fun and easy science experiments for kids. These experiments can be found by searching through the different topics of: magnetism, vibration, electricity, heat, space/flight, chemistry and engineering. These experiments all come with a video showing how it's done along with step by step instructions so you can do them with your students. I would use this in my class to introduce a new unit in science we are going to start. It would get the students' attention right away!

This website has fun songs to help students learn about biology, chemistry, earth science, physics, and there are even more. I think a catchy song helps students remember information more effectively than just reading it.

The Periodic Table of Videos - 0 views

I chose this site because I have referenced it in the past and it has been helpful in learning about elements. I would use this site to have students connect each element to something it is useful in. The elements become more than a symbol or a number and take on a life of their own.
