We've created Yummy Math to provide teachers with an easy way to bring real-life into their math classrooms. It is our belief that when math is explored in contexts that are familiar and of interest to students, students will be more engaged to do math, reason, think critically, question and communicate.  Our activities are written to correspond with the NCTM Process Standards and the CCSS Standards for Mathematical Practice.

Problem-Attic is a product of EducAide Software, which has a long history of developing standards-based questions and teaching/learning tools. Our motto says it all, "Since 1990 we've been bridging the gap between instruction, assessment and technology!" Problem-Attic provides access to high quality state assessment items. These are free, but have some copyright restrictions, so please read carefully.

In order to assist schools and districts with the implementation of the Common Core, NYSED has provided curricular modules and units in P-12 ELA and math that can be adopted or adapted for local purposes. Full years of curricular materials are currently available on EngageNY for grades Prekindergarten through 12th grade in Mathematics.

Math Snacks is a collection of "[s]mart educational animations, games, and interactive tools that help mid-school learners better understand math concepts." These interactive tools are designed to engage young students - specifically those between third and seventh grade - in mathematics concepts. This website also includes a number of resources to help instructors incorporate Math Snacks into their curriculum, including a teacher's guide (in video format) and a printable student guide. All Math Snacks resources are available in both English and Spanish.

At Desmos, our mission is to help every student learn math and love learning math. With that in mind, we've assembled a collection of unique and engaging digital activities, which are free for you and your students.

Elementary school mathematics teachers, parents, youth librarians, and after-school teachers, may be interested in this collection of 25 online educational math games. Arranged by grade level and topic, these games provide an engaging way for youth to practice and review a number of math skills and concepts. These skills include recognizing numbers, calculating equivalent fractions, and understanding the four basic operations. Each of these games is designed for young learners to play on their own, making this website a possible option for students who finish assignments before their classmates. Math, science, and technology teachers may want to bookmark this website as they begin to plan their fall curriculum. Bootstrap curates free lessons on various STEM subjects: algebra, data science, physics, and programming. Since its launch, Bootstrap's curriculum has reached more than 25,000 students. On the Courses page, readers will find a summary of the five available courses (including the recommended age level). After clicking on a course, readers will find links to individual lesson plans within that course (including content standards, materials, and supplemental resources). This design allows educators to use the entire curricula or mix and match lesson plans as a classroom supplement.
