Math Arcade (25 free math games) - 0 views

  •
Elementary school mathematics teachers, parents, youth librarians, and after-school teachers, may be interested in this collection of 25 online educational math games. Arranged by grade level and topic, these games provide an engaging way for youth to practice and review a number of math skills and concepts. These skills include recognizing numbers, calculating equivalent fractions, and understanding the four basic operations. Each of these games is designed for young learners to play on their own, making this website a possible option for students who finish assignments before their classmates. This website is created and maintained by Funbrain, a children's educational website that is part of the Family Education Network. [

Estimation 180 - 0 views

  •
Each day of the school year I present my students with an estimation challenge. I love helping students improve both their number sense and problem solving skills. I'd like to share the estimation challenges with you and your students. Michael Fenton and I have collaborated on this handout for your students. Happy Estimating!
