I've had it. I get more than 300 emails a day and my problem isn't spam (Cloudmark Desktop solves that nicely), it's PR people. Lazy flacks send press releases to the Editor in Chief of Wired because they can't be bothered to find out who on my staff, if anyone, might actually be interested in what they're pitching. Fact: I am an actual person, not a team assigned to read press releases and distribute them to the right editors and writers (that's editor@wired.com).

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation introduced a Beetle-like electric vehicle with in-wheel electric motors, called the i MiEV Sport, which even has a solar panel on its roof. And Nissan unveiled the Pivo 2, a small electric vehicle with a lithium-ion battery pack and in-wheel motors.

Renderings of the 27-story Antilla building depict a highrise that couldn’t be greener. It’s covered in foliage, with living walls enclosing all four sides, hanging gardens and green rooftop. Just a few days ago, the architects boasted about its environmental features – primarily that the walls of plants will increase green space and combat urban heat island effect.

The idea behind BuyGreen.com seems to be offering a wide variety of green products for sale for both consumers and also small businesses. Each product has reportedly been evaluated by select "Green Standards" and offers shoppers information so they understand "how green a product is with respect to four areas of the company’s basic lifecycle standard which include: source material, manufacturing, usage, and disposal."
