Hi, For DCC, you need to increase the "max-accel" parameter in the motor section of the engine config. The built-in class 40 is set to 18000 as standard, try something in 20,000 - 30,000 range. If you are importing engines from TR06 the "max-accel" parameter will be set at something like quarter of what it needs to be in TC3. You need to change this to get the locos to work properly in TC3. "Britannia" on the Port Ogden & Northern - Trainz Discussion Forums - 0 views

  • Well, I did import both PO&N and Riverside into TC3. There were a few hiccups, like the need to rotate all north-south industries by 0.1 degrees. There's a thread of mine in the TC3 forum about this. And links to the site where the routes can be downloaded. Sessions too.

  • You will need to follow these instructions exactly in order to use this fix. Download the new common.gs script from the link on the right (Right-click and 'save link as' or 'Save target as') Copy the updated common.gs file into the scripts folder (replacing the current one) Edit the trainzclassicoptions.txt file and add "-script" (without the quotes) onto the bottom of the file Start TC3 (It will recompile the scripts so will take a few seconds longer than usual) Check you can change the start amount of an industry Close TC3 and edit the trainzclassicoptions.txt file to remove the "-script" line

Hey Boomer, you can also try kuids 207998:3591 and 207998:3602, which were later versions, BEWARE, read the information carefully to make sure you have the SG versions and which way round you have to merge the maps to get the full route. I played with it quite a bit before I obtained TC3, it's a fabulous route when you have it all set up.

Anyway around this issue??? - Trainz Discussion Forums - 0 views

  • Yes What I do and it actually works!! is open up the 2006 CMP manually it then downloads from the DLS to that version. I found that to download to CMP2 in 2009 again you also had to open the CMP2 manually first. PS you can close it and it will still default to the one you had open last including TC3 if you open it. Hope this helps Ron
  • See my thread " A tip from me. Transfering content ;-)" or whatever its called. Basically, the same thing applies here. Just make sure you know the name of the things you download, so you can find them. __________________ http://www.urbantrainzrailroad.webs.com/

  • Anyone know of any good present-day American themed routes for TC 1 & 2 that don't require dependencies built into TRS2006?
