ITALIAN TERMINOLOGY: Memoria Difensiva con Domanda Riconvenzionale - 0 views

  •
Hello! Can anyone clarify the exact terminology for U.S. English? I know that "Domanda Ricovenzionale" is Cross-Complaint, but I don't know about "Memoria Difensiva" -- Is this a memo or actually a brief, in legal language?

I was approached 'cold' for this opportunity by a group with no business name attached, the email was signed simply "Business and Wedding Group". The short version of the offer was that I would translate/edit their emails, which were in poorly-written English, to emails that were in standard American English.

5 More Things to Avoid Before Translating Word Documents - 0 views

  •
Despite Word's widespread use, all too many users have never read on-line help, or have tried "pick and click" trial-and-error methods to achieve proper document structure and formatting. This leads to a large number of Word documents destined for translation and multiple language projects that have major flaws that will add time and expense to the translation process.

SW Translation, SW Localization and SW Internationalization - 0 views

Many customers new to translation are confused by the terms "translation", "localization" and "internationalization." Although each term describes a distinct process for multilingual software projects, translation and localization are often used almost interchangeably

Why Affiliate Marketing Is Not Working for Me - 0 views

Affiliate marketing is one of the most common and for some, even the fastest way to make money online and frankly, there is not much that one needs to do to make good money off affiliate marketing. However, it also does not mean that it is all simple and anyone can make a killing off [...]

Swearing in French and Degrees of Vulgarity | Jennie en France - 0 views

reat post ! As a native French speaker it's great to have an outsider's point of view :) One thing I've noticed though, is that it's always kind of strange to hear a foreigner swear in French - it usually doesn't sound "right". Whether because it's not used appropriately or because it contrasts to the usually formal French spoken by foreigner, I don't know. Any idea ? ;)

I appreciate the invitation to join this appreciative inquire and dialog regarding linguistics and the possible possibilities of designing a future world together. My primary desire is to explore a simplified lexicon in understanding where instead of a Tower of Babel based in distrust, confusion and ontological arguments we design a simplified robust rigor in generating a new agreed upon standard praxis capable of designing a future world together.
