NBC Learn has launched this website called Finishing the Dream. It chronicles the h istory of the civil rights movement. It includes more then 100 stories from NBC News archives. Materials include documentaries on significan events over the course of 60 years, including the Montgomery bus boycott; the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.; the integration of Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas; the Freedom Riders; and more. The content provides the opportunity for community leaders, teachers, and students to discuss the impact of the civil rights movement and to consider related modern issues that affect people today.

Van Camp is a member of the Dogrib nation of the Northwest Territories of Canada, and an emerging voice in the Native American literary movement. He wrote this children's book in order to understand horses, since his people are not horse people and he's always been curious to learn more about them. The format of his book is simple: he asks different people, "What's the most beautiful thing you know about horses?" He receives responses such as: "The most beautiful thing about horses is that they always find their way home" and "I love their breath. You can feel their breath move through their chest. They stare at you as they breathe. Their soul comes right out.""

Socrata is an online space for data lovers to browse datasets as well as create new visualizations to share with others. The data itself can be visualized in a number of ways including, charts, maps, graphs and tables. The site has hundreds of datasets to choose from which can be mashed and downloaded into a variety of file formats including CSV, PDF and XML. \n
