Einztein is a new service for locating online collegiate level courses and corresponding materials. Einztein isn't your standard search engine as all courses listed by Einztein are reviewed by a PhD level editorial team. Each course listed by Einztein comes with a listing of the types of materials available for each course. Some courses have audio, video, and documents while other course may only have one or two of those elements. Visitors to Einztein can search for course by keyword or simply browse courses by subject area.

Mobile Geotagging allows users to post media (photos, video, audio or text) from a mobile phone to a specific point on a map. Flagr allows users to create public, semiprivate, or private maps. Great tool for teachers in many subject areas to enhance learning. For example, students studying habitats or different biological species can take pictures within their community and then send each picture band a description of where the habitat or species was found. In the classroom the teacher opens up the class flagr map and the students then identify the species and discuss why they were found in each particular habitat.

Google Voice can be used by students who are hearing impaired can use this tool to take advantage of text-messaging features to participate in activites that require oral communication. Google Voice will let them view text transcripts of voice-mail messages. Any student can post audio files or podcasts using google voice. Google voicemail and text message communications are archived so there is a running record of all activities and progress. A teacher could make oral quizzes into podcasts by uploading them to a podcasting service, such as ITunes, and students could subscribe to the podcast.
