Digital Compass is a tool to help students learn about digital citizenship by playing an interactive game. When playing the game, the students will pick a character of their choice and create a story. They will have to think strategically about how to create a good digital path for their character, the decisions to take to solve unexpected problems, and how to anticipate potential risks.

Kahoot is used as a summative assessment technology tool and can only be used for multiple choice questions. The teacher must create the questions and then provide all of the possible answers and then select the correct answer for each question. The students then have their own device and go on to kahoot.it where they have to enter in the game code that is provided to the teacher and then enter in a username. Once all students have created a username, the first question and possible answers display on the overhead or smart board. The students only can see four different colored shapes on their device which corresponds to the four possible choices (instead of having a,b,c, and d). Once everyone in the class has answered or if time runs up then the answer displays and it shows how many students selected each answer choice.

Google goggles is an application that users of Androids can download. . Google goggles is a visual search tool. When you want to learn about a specific object, you point the camera in the direction of the item you want to search for, press the photo icon, and then the app will tell you about what's in the photo. Within seconds you become informative about familiar objects that you might have not known everything about.

MathSpring is an intelligent mathematics tutor that provides different types of problem-solving assistance to students including hints video explanations, a glossary of terms, and an online teacher/coach who offers encouragement and support. As students use this program, teachers are able to track their progress.

Remind is a tool used for teachers to communicate with their students and even parents. Teachers can actually text their students with this tool to remind them of assignments that are due or with an upcoming agenda of the week. Besides for just sending daily or weekly reminders, teachers can also attach files. It also allows you to send reminders to just one or all of your classes. I will use remind to send my students daily reminders of the homework assignments and/or test and quizzes they have. It is a way to communicate with your students that is convenient for them and without giving out your personal cell phone number.

eClass is a tool that allows students to access classroom assignments and handouts that they are enrolled in. It also allows for students to hand in assignments and have discussions with others in the class.
