Media Smarts is a great website resource for digital citizenship in the classroom as a whole, but its game Click If You Agree is especially unique because it makes the obscure realm of Terms and Conditions agreements understandable for students. Created for grades 7-9, Click If You Agree presents students with a scenario that is questionable in its legality. To make a decision, students have to search the agreement using three keywords they chose to best represent the core elements of the scenario. Students have three tries to pick sections of the agreement to help answer the scenario's questions, with each selected section translated into simplified, understandable languages. Selecting the right passages allows students to decide how to solve the scenario and earn badges with each successful conclusion. Not only does this game make Terms and Conditions agreements more understandable, but it also helps students harness keywords and think about their responsibilities as digital citizens in a more profound and critical way.

Recap 2.0 is an interactive platform where students are encouraged to ask questions and seek out their answers both individually and as a class, monitored by the teacher. Questions can be privately shared to the teacher for individual feedback on shaping the inquiry before presenting it to the rest of the class, sparking either a class discussion or an individual Journey. Journeys introduce a new interactive component by allowing students and teachers to post 60-second videos about the question, and Recap 2.0 provides a multi-step path of inquiry for the student to follow and maintain interest in answering their question. Teachers can use this for assessment by following student questions, collaborative discussions to answer questions, and Journey videos and individual path process to analyze what captures the students' interests and what they still puzzle over.

Mission US offers 6 missions that take students back to pivotal moments in American history as ordinary children of the time. Students have to interact with characters and rich historical settings to help solve problems their avatars face in both daily life and in major historical happenings. These serious games enable students to forge a deeper connection with the events and people of the past, in addition to challenging them to think critically about situations using background knowledge.

Pear Deck is a great way to make presentations interactive and increase direct communication between students and teachers. Students can view and work with the presentation on their own devices, while teachers control the pace of the presentation from the main "clicker." Content can be made interactive with multiple choice questions, write-in responses, numbers, drawings, draggable pins onto images, and other means of working with the presentation. Students make their individual responses, and teachers can choose to show the anonymous responses for the entire class to deliberate over. It's a great way for students and teachers to check in and see how the class (as a whole and individually) is understanding the lesson. https://www.peardeck.com/
