Okay, so I found this blog. Talk about useful technology and a plethora of it! Basically, they've collected the Youtube videos that could be used in the classroom. It's nice because it allows you to find everything in one place.

This is a great example of asynchronous video chatting! You can post a picture or slide, and then hear people's comments---just like you would in class. I think I'll use this for my online section.

This site is a really good reference for teacher so they can promote literacy. I know this is a technology class but as teachers we need to make sure our students can read well. Otherwise they won't be able to make use of the technology.

I really love this blog site because it is all about teaching those special students in your classrooms whose needs are quickly met, but who get bored easily with the mundaneness of school. This is a big issue I've struggled with myself--trying to keep my gifted students fully active and participating in everything we do--and I have already found several helpful hints on this site. It includes some neat ideas for technology inclusion, as well. The more educated we are about the diversity of our students and their specific needs, the better we can meet those needs and educate our students with a whole range of abilities.

Although these aren't the greatest or most entertaining resources, there are different videos that could be useful to a teacher that include training on how to use the technology that is available to them in their school.

It is great that as teachers we can use technology to find lesson plans that contribute or assist to our own lesson plans. This site has an entire unit on The Great Depression and New Deal that involves multiple research based strategies such as cooperative learning and non linguistic representation. I actually used one of the lessons during my practicum and the kids loved it!
