Educational media has made a considerable impact on schools, educational institutions and providers of open and distance education. Educational Media International (EMI) is a scholarly journal that publishes research, evaluation, and development studies addressing the issues, successes and challenges faced in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of educational media.

We are a 'Special Interest Group' and centre of expertise in social media/online worlds, based in the Department of Media Arts and Communication and the Faculty of Aces, Sheffield Hallam University. Research in Science & Technological Education publishes original research from throughout the world dealing with science education and/or technological education. This journal offers an opportunity for those involved in University learning and teaching to disseminate their practice. It aims to publish accounts of scholarly practice that report on small-scale practitioner research and case studies of practice that involve reflection, critique, implications for future practice and are informed by relevant literature, with a focus on enhancement of student learning.
