cool site for older kids. Pulls movie clips from many modern and older films. I would love to see the "class" work thought the problems and see if the movie is using the correct formula and answers et al.

Make sure you watch the movie preview, may not be appropriate for younger students!
  •
Make sure you check the video first- might not be appropriate for certain ages. For a quick laugh, check out The Office, surplus video. :)
  •
Love this!! Great way to inspire kids, but as stated by others: be cautious of content.
  •
Love this! Great way to inspire students. A word of caution as stated above: check content for appropriateness.

So hands on! Check out grade 6, solar system to the moon! Very motivating and easy to use
  •
Science by grade level. The only thing that is a negative is most of the video is supported by flash and not many by shockwave so it would be difficult to view on Macs.

For the kids who love sports, this site has opportunities to make cartoons, write stories, solve puzzles, watch videos, read, etc. Would be a good way to motivate the reluctant reader or writer.

I plan on using this site for my students who need RWG, high interest reading! Love it!
  •
I think this would be a great reinforcer for a student who loves sports!!!
  •
I like this website for students who are interested in sports. However, the readability of a lot of the articles is quite high. This would be a difficult website for struggling readers to access as the language in the articles is advanced for lower elementary students.

This site offers articles about wild and domestic animals with videos, basic care info, fundraiser/how to help info as well as what is being done to help info. This would be helpful with the endangered species g4 project as well as general animal education or community outreach/awareness projects. Caution: It's very sad:(
  •
This site would be for upper middle school and higher students. It presents news stories in a Facebook like listing that you can click on and read the full article. It does present some controversial topics that may not be appropriate for younger readers.

Collaborative Online Diagram Software - Try it Free | Creately - 4 views

This looked interesting but more complicated to me than the Gliffy
  •
I watched the Creatly video - similar to Google docs....
  •
Much more complex that what we usually see, but might be a good source for those budding computer engineers, etc. I liked how each area explained what the uses would be for that group of graphics.
