cool site for older kids. Pulls movie clips from many modern and older films. I would love to see the "class" work thought the problems and see if the movie is using the correct formula and answers et al.
I got this to work after trying a few things and it's a great site! Very engaging with multiple forms of representation, including kmz files. National standards are included and activities are available for all subjects & grades.
Math for all levels, with practice linked to state standards. Students submit their work online. Data such as the time it takes to do a problem and accuracy are tracked. Print out award certificates. Subscription cost for this site. Helpful for followup and extra practice at home.
I love this site and all the things the students can do with the manipulatives. For example the base blocks will give the student the number they need to show using the blocks. My only complaint is there is no corrective feedback so if the student solves the problem incorrectly they can still move on to the next one.
This website would be great for students to use at home. It provides students with simple refresher videos for them to watch at home if they need to remember a formula or need help solving a problem.
