I really like this website. It offers games, videos and photos all about animals and pets. There is also a tab to explore countries. I really like the Little kids Tab. This tab offers crafts and recipes, science experiements and games for little ones. The website is easy to navigate and is very kid friendly.

This site allows the user to easily create a cartoon with backgrounds, text captions, thought bubbles, characters and objects. The cartoon can be printed at the end. Only downside is that it is in black and white, there does not appear to be a color option.

Great tool! Easy to Use for teachers and students. There is a paid version and a free version. Paid version gives you more options for characters and backgrounds. I used this site to create a digital social story.
  •
It took awhile to learn the various features and how to get the characters to move/actions. But once you get it it is fun!

For the kids who love sports, this site has opportunities to make cartoons, write stories, solve puzzles, watch videos, read, etc. Would be a good way to motivate the reluctant reader or writer.

I plan on using this site for my students who need RWG, high interest reading! Love it!
  •
I think this would be a great reinforcer for a student who loves sports!!!
  •
I like this website for students who are interested in sports. However, the readability of a lot of the articles is quite high. This would be a difficult website for struggling readers to access as the language in the articles is advanced for lower elementary students.

News : The Humane Society of the United States - 2 views

This site offers articles about wild and domestic animals with videos, basic care info, fundraiser/how to help info as well as what is being done to help info. This would be helpful with the endangered species g4 project as well as general animal education or community outreach/awareness projects. Caution: It's very sad:(
  •
This site would be for upper middle school and higher students. It presents news stories in a Facebook like listing that you can click on and read the full article. It does present some controversial topics that may not be appropriate for younger readers.
