Great for not only the kids but also parents and educators. Includes different options for learning so that children can do what they enjoy. It is a great way to keep the parents involved as well. It displays the range of ages for which each game is appropriate for. A simple way to make math fun.

Math Lesson Plans - 0 views

  •
Over 1000 lesson plans and units for math teachers! This website also includes what part of the standard course of study the lesson pertains too, as well as teacher feedback from the use of the lesson. I think this would be very useful if a teacher is struggling with a particular topic. They can come on this website and find a new way to explain a topic. This website also gives you questions that you can ask (sometimes higher level questions are difficult to come up with).

Provides a way to organize all the online groups under one umbrella. You may have a WIKI for your course, a discussion group for bookclub, WIKI for grade level; each with their one group of people who really do not overlap. Instead of organizing by site - you organize by people. Interesting idea as we become members of multiple online groups and get to know the people in them as well groups purpose and resources

Connexions - Sharing Knowledge and Building Communities - 0 views

This site is aptly named. This site has all sorts of articles, learning modules, instructional texts that members can post and share in the online community. I found the articles about connecting music with math very interesting. There are great ideas for connecting curriculum with other areas of interest like music.
