Samsung LED HDTV

I have had this TV for about a week now. Samsung un32eh5300 is a very good 32" HDTV. The picture quality is excellent. The sound quality is also very good. One complaint I have about this TV is that the base stand is very light weight. Previous Samsung TVs I have owned have had much heavier stands. This one is very light and when you touch the TV it will actually jiggle a little back and forth like it's on a spring. I'm also a little worried that if it is nudged too hard it could easily fall over due to the light weight base. Also, my other 32" Samsung (model LN32B550) had a swivel stand that was quite nice, whereas this stand does not swivel, which is a bit disappointing. I assume Samsung decided to cut costs and the quality of the stand has suffered pretty dramatically from just 3 years ago. Other than the cheap stand issues, I am very pleased with this TV.

Samsung un46eh6000 is basic television, but I mostly use it as a monitor for my PC and consoles. It does a wonderful job for what I need it for. The picture on this TV is outstanding. Black Levels Excellent , the Blacks actually look like real world Deep Black rather than grayish.The LED technology really makes everything pop with its high contrast ratio. I don't care how deep the TV is. It's not going on my wall and I've got plenty of front to back room for the TV. The thin bezel looks great. 2 HDMI, just adequate for me. And if you have a Home Theater System, your receiver should have more HDMI's. Overall, this is an excellent TV without any bells and whistles which most of us probably won't need. Would it make a good monitor for gaming? i wanted something a little bigger than 27" Thx pwnmachine : Well there are a few downsides to using a TV as a computer monitor. - Significantly lower response times (typically 8ms) - Image ghosting/Burn-in - Bulky - Often inaccurate colors - Even though it may be 1080p that will not give you the clarity of a dedicated PC monitor. For me the dealbreaker is the high response time. Especially if its used for gaming that can be a huge downside... TV's are great for viewing from longer distances but are not really made to be viewed up close. You will see fuzziness and static on screen which can be a PITA, If I were you I would try to snag a cheap 27inch monitor on Black Friday.

I am very happy with un32eh5000. The picture is excellent, it has the inputs/outputs I wanted. Movies look great, bright colorful scenes are almost painful to look at (I had the brightness set too high). Overall set up was easy. I plugged my laptop into the tv via an hdmi cable and it looked great and was very easy to calibrate the size of the window. The speakers sound better than I thought they would, I think I will actually use them in addition to my stereo speakers. The tv itself is a nice design, the front is very seamless, giving it a smaller impact on the living room. I also really like how it is uses LED backlighting, which uses less energy and is much less toxic than ccfl backlit tvs. This was the only tv in this price range that I could find that used LED backlighting and also had good reviews on picture quality. I just wish they made a 37 inch version, I would have paid more for it.
