FOLSOM, Sacramento County (CBS SF) - A convicted sex offender from Contra Costa County who was killed in an apparent homicide in his state prison cell in Folsom last week has been identified as 51-year-old Raymond Johnston.

So I guess the online registry is not sufficient, now they are posting ex-offender info on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.

Chief United States District Judge M. Casey Rodgers also sentenced Keys 10 years in prison for possession of ammunition by a convicted felon, which will run concurrent with his sentence for child pornography. Keys was previously convicted in state court for a lewd and lascivious act upon a child and is a registered sexual offender. Keys was found guilty of using peer-to-peer software between April 2009 and August 2013 to share thousands of images of child pornography online. A federal search warrant was obtained for Keys' residence in August 2013, and law enforcement officers discovered more than 10,000 images and videos of child pornography.

An Illinois judge ordered Teamster protesters to suspend picketing at 16 area funeral homes after receiving complaints by grieving families. The protesters harassed mourners, screamed obscenities and unleashed a German Shepard on a family.
