This article made me think of My Stroke of Insight. The first few days after a stroke are so crutial and here are some important things for medical professionals to focus on.

There are so many ways out there to improve fine motor skills, but not all of them are fun. I love almost all of these ideas.

Throwing things through a pool noodle. I don't think it was made for OT, but I think it will definitely help with motor planning and visual perception skills.

I really like these 5 tips on how to improve posture. Even though these are exercises I believe it would be a great idea to give clients information about these exercises to improve posture when they are away from our services.

It literally has everything from information that we can use as practitioners and information that we can give clients. This website addresses pain, ADLs, assessments, certain dx (cancer, diabetes, you name it its probably on here). I advice everyone check this site out. I feel like this site has come up before in another course but maybe I just used it.

Even though this is a teachers site, I love the idea of sequencing activity worksheets. These could be something simple that the client can work through on the piece of paper or use the paper as a guide to complete certain activities. Some of the worksheets to require payment but it would be so easy to type up a sequencing activity to save for future patients.

I like this idea of creating desensitization dowels for clients that have hypersensitivity to touch. This is fairly inexpensive and easy to make.

I like the HEP that can be used for numbness in the hands. The handout can be saved as a picture and increase size to give to patients.

This is a great poster on how a client and their family can make their home more wheelchair accessible. Having a sheet like this would be a great way to discuss with clients how well their home is wheelchair accessible and the changes they could make.
