What made the Commodore 64 so special? It wasn't Commodore's first machine, but for many a child of the 1980s, the Commodore 64 still holds a special place in their hearts.

You sit alone in your living room, pounding on a 13 button controller, yelling into a microphone at a 12 year old boy who is up way past his bedtime. You curse, you swear... the surround sound is turned on full volume as the warm HD glow of the t.v. fills the room. Suddenly, the door opens and your girlfriend walks in. You are embarrassed, you are shamed. You are clearly in love with your video games.

I was born in the 70's, so I have fond memories of the Nintendo Entertainment System. From having to blow in the cartridge to get it to work, stacking cartridges inside the system and writing down codes because there was no save feature.

All of us who have grown up in the 90's remember the SNES console. It is a classic second generation Nintendo game surpasses the expectations of NES. While we are introduced to additional buttons the feel of the games seem to be more complex with new dimensions being in introduced. This additional dimension gave way for some of the most excellent RPG games.

Super Nintendo was a great system and in my opinion the best 16-bit system that was released. Here is the list for my top ten games for the Super Nintendo.

The Top 10 Super Nintendo Games of All Time - I am a huge Nintendo fan. I have fond memories of playing my SNES late at night, hoping that my mom wouldn't wake up and find me doing so. There were plenty of games that I loved to play on it, some bought, many borrowed, some played at friends' houses. Sadly, I missed out on some of the "great ones"; The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and all of the Final Fantasy games immediately come to mind. This is a list of the ten best games for that system, based on my own nostalgia. Enjoy!

The NES System (Nintendo Entertainment System) is perhaps the best system ever released.  Of course this is purely a personal opinion but many others must agree.  I have nothing against the newer systems, I love my GameCube and PS2 and cannot wait for the Wii to come out (although I don't like that name) but there is something about the older systems.  It was a simpler time for gamers.

On June 12th, 2006 Jason Lindholm wrote an article about his Top 5 Favorite NES Games. I'm also an avid gamer and the Nintendo was my first love so I hold many NES games near and dear to my heart. Today's video game systems have more in-depth storylines and better graphics but nothing beats the old classics. I have my own top five favorite games from the Nintendo but I thought I'd also add some comments about Jason's choices also.

A Guide to the Ten Best Games Ever Made for the Super Nintendo Gaming System

From countless years of video game experience, I have come to enjoy a few excellent RPGs more than many other games available. These are ten of the top RPGs of all time.

When Nintendo announced the Super Nintendo we all asked why? The NES was still king. Did we really want to spend money on a new system that would play basically the same games with slightly better graphics? And the first games released on the Super NES proved that point. A slightly more colorful version of "Super Mario" offered the same game play as it's original.

As a new decade is just around the corner and this decade comes to a close, I feel that it is only right to look back on the top ten video games that have shaped the gaming world in the past ten years.

When you take a look back at the original classic top ten nintendo games that made an impact on how you played the best games ever, such as super Mario Bros, Contra, the Legend of Zelda, and Duck Hunt, then you will find yourself on a quest back down memory lane with Super Mario, who is a warrior elf on this board game, that sets fourth on a mission to save princess Zelda. But before he could save her, Mario would have to fight King Cooper. With a sword and shield. Super Mario has to pass different boards by winning the board. Mario would gain magic through little flowers that sometime appeared on top of the blocks he crossed that gave him power, to defeat King cooper, before he could save Princess Zelda.

The Nintendo 64 is possibly the most popular videogame console ever made. Some of the best games were created for this system, and surely some of the best videogame hours have been spent playing these games. I received an N64 for my 11th birthday, and I immediately fell in love with it. I played a lot of games on that system, but I wanted to know if my favorite games were anyone else's favorite games. I did a little research, and using the user ratings and, of course, my own opinions, I think I have selected a great list of the top 10 best games ever made for the Nintendo 64.
