NPR's best foreign fiction for 2008

Inform is a design system for interactive fiction based on natural language Inform has been used to teach reading, foreign languages, programming, history, game design, and new media theory to students at many levels, from elementary school through college and adult education.

"With this interactive tool, teens can create printed social networking or magazine/newspaper profiles for themselves, peers or family members whom they have interviewed, or fictional characters from books they have read. Featuring components of popular online social networking applications, this tool engages teens and provides a means for adults to talk about safe, responsible online behavior, such as having an awareness of who could be seeing online profiles and limiting highly personal information."

A letter which attempts to persuade the reader to write their own persuasive letter, and which highlights some of the main points to include.

This is a classroom project by University of Connecticut students who role-play fictional characters in 20th century Germany. Note: This is a work in progress, but we are happy to read your comments and feedback!
