This teacher chose to have his students create RSA Animate-style videos as "an easy way to make them visualize their information, make connections, and re-tell their facts in a story that had a very tight story line that flowed.  All skills that would transfer nicely to any traditional essay." He really emphasizes the preparation and planning stages, which is great. He also talks about the process, which is useful.  All said, a great resource.

Ever heard of AutoCAD? Maya? 3ds Max? Autodesk has some of the best 3D software on the market, and they give it to faculty and students for free.

Great pedagogy tool to help you design enhanced learning experiences for your students with the iPad. Apps are recommended for each level of Bloom's Taxonomy along with suggested learning activities. From the article: "I have added 62 iPad apps to the wheel and put them where they could serve the pedagogy. These are not necessarily the best app for the job and many of the apps can be used in different realms but it is a good start.
