BBC UK's maths, science and literacy games and puzzles for ES1 and Stage 1. They look good. Try the KS2 link for stage 2 and 3 games.

Any stage 3 teachers interested in a gaming  approach to learning. This would be very interesting.  The project aimed to trial the efficacy of student-developed games in stage 3 classrooms. This wiki features the results and impact of the project on learning from the perspective of students and teachers from the two primary schools involved.

This is just very interesting- A great way to introduce Famous People- It is a well known famous painting of World renown famous people with a mouse over capability that takes you to Wikepedia. A good activity to do with students stage 4-6

That's Not Cool is a website designed to teach young adults that online and mobile phone behavior is real behavior with real consequences. That's Not Cool has three primary features; videos, discussion forum, and call out cards. More suitable for Stage 4 and 5. I like the videos... not sure about the call out cards

is a good visual vocabulary site that offers students illustrations that help students understand vocabulary. One drawback is that it has limited vocabulary, however could be used to introduce the word of the day / week etc Approp for Stage 3 and up

I was just wondering which google apps people are making use of in their classrooms or for professional/personal use. A couple of questions I am thinking about at the moment are: 1. Should we be giving students experience with public access tools such as these so that they can take the skills they learn with them rather than the skills they learn specific to Myclasses/myinternet? 2. With myclasses etc perhaps being phased out/modified/replaced at some stage is this a viable alternative that could be used instead?

Use this link to book school seminars. This is the third year that we have had ACMA run seminars for our Stage 3 students at St Michael's. Seminars are highly informative and have a great impact on students.

An awesome tool for creating story books for printing and sharing. Suitable for ES1-S1. Not embeddable at this stage, but very easy to share via email/link on blog...

Create a text based, comic style movie with simple animation. Its very simple, quick and effective. No easy download at this stage or character voices but very easy to use.

Highly recommend this!!!!! Some wonderful ideas,tips and tricks on how to use the Smartboard effectively. Some great shortcuts. I suggest working through these 1 by 1 - selecting those that are relevant to grade/stage etc. Particularly good after you have some sound basic skills developed.
