A Maths Dictionary for Kids provides simple and clear definitions of math terms. Each definition includes a small diagram or simple activity to illustrate the term's definition. A Maths Dictionary for Kids does not have a search option, but it doesn't need one as all definitions appear alphabetically just like in a physical dictionary.

NetSmartzKids is a website set up to teach children and young adults about using the internet safely. Well worth a look when working on cyber safety with kids. US Focussed, but still has much relevant information.
If you want your students to use the internet for research, but find that sites such as Wikipedia can overwhelm students and contain too much information - then you might like to take a look at the Simple English Wikipedia.
The Simple English Wikipedia uses simple English words and grammar to explain topics.
There are 70,000 articles on the site, a fraction of the 3 million articles that are on the main wikipedia page, but enough for most students. Check before you send kids towards the site that it contains the topics you want them to research. If it doesn't you could always create a page and add the information yourself - or make it a goal for the research project to write a page!
Whiz Kid Games is a "portal for autistic children. The games are a free resource that aim to help autistic children to develop independent living skills." There are sixteen games to choose from- each targeting a specific area such as waiting, choosing the correct clothes to wear based on the weather, sorting items, coping with change, etc
This is a pretty cool spelling activity, as the student clicks on the letters, different pictures appear on the page that begin with that letter (all kid-friendly!). As the student inserts more letters, the relevant images get larger if they are being spelt correctly.
