Great K - 6 suitable activities to use in Math. I particularly like the way the content is organised in grades and then in math strands

Poplet is a great tool for creating collaborating mindmapping. It is similar to wallwisher/stixy, but with more of an emphasis on linked ideas. There is also a great app for the iPad which allows collaboration. 

Online mind mapping and note taking. Great for revision and summary activities.

Cybersmart provides activities, resources and practical advice to help young kids, kids, teens and parents safely enjoy the online world. Cybersmart also offers training and resources for schools and materials for library staff.

A cool idea for creating virtual flowers. The Black Eyed Peas have created/endorsed a site called Planting My Ideas. You can use music, images, and words to create your own flower, which is then be posted in the site's gallery. You can also post the link on a student or teacher's website/blog, and have students write about it as a language development activity.

A very active primary blog, worth a look. 

Super Maths World is good resource offering differentiated math practice. The activities offered on Super Maths World are suitable for students in primary and high school. The progress tracker is a good way for self-directed learners to measure their progress. The progress tracker and scores could also be used by teachers as a means of measuring a student's development. Worth a look!

A brilliant, easy to use short film/animation site. Excellent for unit intros, transition activities etc. Make your own film in no more than 60 seconds - so easy.

This site is the Homepage for NSW and is jam-packed with brilliant links for parents, teachers and kids too! The audiofiles and videos are excellent teacher professional development with titles like: Talking with Text, Numeracy at Home, Using the Empty Number LIne and speakers like Prof. Freebody discussing Literacy in our schools! Many of the links could be worth advertising in our schools' Newsletters/Bulletins as we head up to NLNW activities!

NetSmartzKids is a website set up to teach children and young adults about using the internet safely. Well worth a look when working on cyber safety with kids. US Focussed, but still has much relevant information.

Another wonderful source of Educational games, broken up into grade levels from K-5 and then into subject areas/topics - well worth a look.
