Excellent site to grab movie clips, great search capabilities. Eg can search for characters/ mood/ setting etc. Excellent resource. Need to download clips at home as proxies currently appear to block.

This is an excellent resource and one which i use with my schools very often. The examples are good, and it also provides a scaffold for Microsoft Word that you can download. http://www.amathsdictionaryforkids.com/ is also made by the same person and is worth a look.

This brings us to a few questions. How do we interpret our pedagogy in a dynamic educational setting that is truly anywhere, any time, any place and any mode? How do we present a powerful pedagogy that imparts knowledge and skills in such a dynamic environment and still teach with timetables, outcomes-based assessment and classes with a discrete teacher within a discrete classroom. Indeed, how do we visualise the classroom as an organic learning centre yet maintain traditional pedagogy that promotes 'pre-designed syllabi centered (sic) on a fixed course material to be covered' (Lopez 2005).

The stories are written by several authors who contribute to the site, and all the videos are screened before they are uploaded. Many of the videos include captions in other languages, so it may be a good tool for language learning, too.
