Another Dead Sea Surfers Disc Auction on eBay - 1 views

As far as the band progress goes are last few rehearsals have been really really tight and the band is getting tighter and i see us booking a lot of show next year. Likely we will play out quite a bit during the winter and spring of 2010. Everyone has pretty much pledged to do it and it seems as though everyone is moving thing out of the way so we can start playing some live show, which rocks. i am pretty certain at this point we will play Johnson City at the Hideaway and at The Hot Topic Store in the Mall. As the manager has touched base and pretty much started he wants us to play in there on a Thursday Night in february which we are all totally looking forward to. If that goes well we will likely following the same formula in Knoxville, TN and Asheville, North Carolina. I am also working on an acoustic set on the guitar of all original songs to perform. i want to thank all the fans for taking a look at our disc on the eBay aucition site

A BLASTED YEAR FOR TAKING BACK SUNDAY - 0 views

A rock band from Amityville, New York formed in 1999. When people heard or read Amityville the first thing that will come to their mind is the horror movie that makes the people jumped on their seats but in the music scene Amityville reminds people of the American rock band Taking Back Sunday.

  • a proverbial line between paradox, hostility and a caustic blend of post-hard/math core. Retaining the definitive tension and angular force of earlier THESE ARMS ARE SNAKES efforts, Easter is the year-long culmination of a more structured yet experimental song writing process for the band. Recorded at Red Room Recording in Seattle by TAAS drummer Chris Common, Easter explores the relationship between suspect animism, impending otherwordly doom and the ethereal battle between virtue and ruin. More than anything from THESE ARMS ARE SNAKES back catalog, Easter was meant to hurt you. TO CONTACT TAAS for questions that are about , booking, press, or other inquiries it's best to get in touch directly with the right people to answer it.

Retirement is something that most people look forward to.
  • Retirement is something that most people look forward to. The chance to take a break, to have all the time for yourself, to enjoy life after many years of hard work is indeed a very inviting prospect. However, financial instability makes the future of retirement a little bleak.

Freed Young Leader Energizes Egyptian Protests - 0 views

  •
A young Google executive who helped ignite Egypt's uprising energized a cheering crowd of hundreds of thousands Tuesday with his first appearance in their midst after being released from 12 days in secret detention. "We won't give up," he promised at one of the biggest protests yet in Cairo's Tahrir Square. Once a behind-the-scenes Internet activist, 30-year-old Wael Ghonim has emerged as an inspiring voice for a movement that has taken pride in being a leaderless "people's revolution." Now, the various activists behind it - including Ghonim - are working to coalesce into representatives to push their demands for President Hosni Mubarak's ouster. With protests invigorated, Vice President Omar Suleiman issued a sharply worded warning, saying of the protests in Tahrir, "We can't bear this for a long time, and there must be an end to this crisis as soon as possible," in a sign of growing impatience with 16 days of mass demonstrations. For the first time, protesters made a foray to Parliament, several blocks away from their camp in the square. Several hundred marched to the legislature and chanted for it to be dissolved.
