    Frankfurt, Nachtleben 05-06-07

After i convinced a friend of mine, who just got back from a trip to china, to go to the show, we met the guys from antitainment in the front of the venue.
In the nachtleben, cool shows have become really rare over the past few years, although they had some cool ones in the mid of the nineties there like civ, good riddance or strung out.
Second Monday started the evening. I can´t really remember what they were playing, so it can´t have been that bad, as i then certainly would remember.

Antitainment was up next, beeing the local band from frankfurt.
I really liked it, although they played some new titles and omitting some that i really love.
You can check their myspace site to hear some mp3s. It is a mixture of classic punk/hc and very modern sounds including a lot of samples and weird keyboard stuff.
The crowd was pretty lame this time (due to the high prices on beer, i think), and the singer/guitarist dropped his microphone at least 3 times.

Headliner was these arms are snakes. They were advertised as a band having ex-members from botch, wich made me curious. Botch had been an incredible live-band.
These arms are snakes don´t sound like Botch at all, although they really are great musicians. The problem was the singer. He was just a little too active, hectic, rolling on the floor and spitting...
Now what sounds like a great performance was in this case a little too much.
Besides, i really don´t like his singing voice.

After the concert we had to leave pretty fast, as marko had not yet recovered from his china-trip (Which saved a lot of money because of the expensive drinks they offer there).
