    Kid friendly on line tool for creating graphs of all kinds. It includes a tutorial, tools, graphing, and various ways to understand graphing in a kid friendly format

    This site allows you to easily create Bar, Line, Area, Pie, and XY graphs. When completed the graphs can then either be printed or saved. This site would work much better than excel for many simple student graphs, because of the complexities that excel sometimes leads to.

    When I found this website I was so excited! This website makes creating a graph SUPER easy! Whether you teach Math or Science, this is a great website to use for graphing. The students are still responsible to collecting the data and knowing where to put the information. All they have to do is choose the type of graph they want, type in the data, and then the graph is created!

    How Many of Me begins by stating that there are 305,818,604 people in the United States. It then asks, "How many have your name?" You type in your first and last name and it will tell you how many others in the U.S. have the same name. It will also tell you how many people in the U.S. have the same first name alone and how many have the same last name alone. There are links for statistics and data on famous people's names. This site would mostly be for fun, but you could tie it into ancestry and immigration lessons in the classroom.

    This site allows the user to create online surveys free of charge. Similar to survey monkey, but does not limit the number or questions being asked or the limit the number of responses. This could be used in schools for faculty or student surveys or even in the classroom for students to get data for a statistics project.

Calories, fat grams, carbs, and fiber are all listed for menu items from restaurants such as Schlotzsky's, Chili's, McDonald's, Panera Bread, Krispy Kreme, and many more. With the focus on childhood obesity, this is a great site for kids (and adults) to compare menu items and learn how to make better choices when eating out. This site could be a fun resource for a health, or maybe even a math, activity.
