This website is from the National Science Teachers Association professional development. They even have web seminars that you can watch and interact with others. This would be good for my district and those that focus on the content area of science in my district.

Designed primarily for Jr-Sr High students, the INCREDIBLE video clips offer a superb look at science theories as applied to the the Winter Olympic sports. The accompanying worksheets and quizzes are too advanced for younger students, however the videos are very interesting for students as young as 3rd grade.

I saw this and thought I was such a great idea!

This website has K-2 science lesson plans that integrate technology too!

This is the go to site for professional development! There are sites upon sites here. Everything is organized by 4 main areas: Content Area, Specific Populations, Leadership, and Science and Pedagogy. The information here is unreal!

This guy is awesome. On this website not only can you check out his blogs but he has all kinds of cool and relevent experiments he shows you how to do in your own classroom. Sure it favors science but there is plenty of stuff for any teacher to enjoy on here.

AWESOME site! And FREE!!! Great resource for teaching teachers to use Virtual Field Trips. I especially like the one about teaching student to mummify things (morbid, I know, but this is very easy-to-use steps for teaching students science processess!)....this site has exceptional 'trips' (otherwise known as 'lessons', but don't tell the students that!) on a wide variety of topics!

National Geographic Game site is for students 3rd grade and up. It has various science and history adventures and activities.

This website provides short videos of 'teachers-in-action'. My personal favorite is China through Mapping, as you follow an Early Childhood Teacher through the steps of a class-created GIANT map, all while learning about China. \nThe entire site is filled with great videos that 'teach teachers' about great classroom ideas!

K-12 resources in arts, foreign languages, literature, language arts, math, science, and social studies. These resources can be accessed for FREE at Learner.org or can be purchased through the website.

Has lots of great resources across the curriculum both for teachers an for students, the vast majority can be view VoD directly from the website.

Great website for educators to share slideshow presentations in all content areas of education. Share you own shows or download slides already created. Don't reinvent the wheel or hesitate to share something of your own.

This is great for Science or Social Studies! Great video, and can read ahead to what will be on the National geographic!! Great learning tool. It is really easy to access.
