Consequently, Leo Havemann and Javiera Atenas find the recent growth of high quality online learning content is not able to be used to its full advantage. The process of opening up MOOC resources would add value to the resources by reaching a wider community. But most importantly, HE institutions currently investing in MOOCs could demonstrate, beyond reasonable doubt, their real commitment to openness and improved access to education for all.

by Cameron Neylon - Rio Journal, 24/10/17 A pilot project worked with seven existing projects funded by the International Development Research Center of Canada (IDRC) to investigate the implementation of data management and sharing requirements within development research projects. The seven projects, which were selected to achieve a diversity of project types, locations, host institutions and subject areas, demonstrated a broad range of existing capacities to work with data and access to technical expertise and infrastructures. The pilot project provided an introduction to data management and sharing concepts, helped projects develop a Data Management Plan, and then observed the implementation of that plan.

Cet article est intitulé "Data Authorship as an Incentive to Data Sharing" et signé par des chercheurs d'Harvard, Boston, et l'AAMC (Association of American Medical College à Washington. Ils proposent le concept de data-authors, à coté des auteurs de la publication "The listing of data authors would be transmitted with the data set at the time it is placed in a repository for access by third parties."
