Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah challenged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to gather a million people in Islamabad on November 2, adding if he succeeds in doing so, the PML-N will hand government to him.
KARACHI: Farooq Sattar, senior Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader, Thursday said ongoing targeted operation in Karachi against criminal elements is being used to "eliminate" his party. Addressing a press conference here, Sattar said a conspiracy is being hatched to sideline MQM from political arena and to replace it with some other political party by using the targeted operation.

KARACHI: An anti terrorism court (ATC) Monday sentenced an activist of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to jail for 19 years, Samaa reported. Chaudhry Shujaat, the convicted MQM activist, was charged with criminal possession of weapons and explosive material. Last year the government launched a major crackdown against criminal elements in the largest city of the country.
