KARACHI: Farooq Sattar, senior Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader, Thursday said ongoing targeted operation in Karachi against criminal elements is being used to "eliminate" his party. KARACHI: An anti terrorism court (ATC) Monday sentenced an activist of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to jail for 19 years, Samaa reported. Chaudhry Shujaat, the convicted MQM activist, was charged with criminal possession of weapons and explosive material. Last year the government launched a major crackdown against criminal elements in the largest city of the country.
