While deep in the Ochoco Mountains we ran across a nice flowing creek. I love running water and just had to stop!! Upon inspection of where we were it was obvious this spot had been used as a hunting camp. The legs of the elk and the "meat hangers" (we laughed for I am sure there is a real name for them ha) , that were nailed to the trees. The feathers laying around looked as if maybe a turkey was in the mix with the elk? Even a spot for a bathroom. Gave us this impression. Guy wondered further down the creek then I for things happen to catch my eye. So I was wondering around on my own taking shots of the ice that was found where the water was not running fast. As I was doing my thing I heard some racket that was obviously coming from the trees and from birds. As you can imagine wild creatures do not just sit still so one can snap off photographs, so off I went to get this loud birds photographs! There were at least 3 of these birds, however non of them were all that impressed with any of us there! From the information I gathered of this bird, these must of been truly wild Gray Jays!! Not yet ingrained with human presents. I first thought this was a nutcracker. We have many of those around so it seams. Same family as these Gray Jays, but so is the steller's jay,blue jay and the western scrub jay , the crows, the ravens there is a lot of species in the Corvidae family!! From the sub species of the Gray Jay and getting these photographs in the Ochoco mountains this determined these to be the Bicolored Gray Jay. One thing all these birds have in common is, they are very smart!! Smarter then humans give them credit for! Over the Cascade Mountains there is yet another sub species of the Gray Jay over there with different needs and habits. That Gray Jay does not like snow, the ones here better like snow! I rejoiced not over the works of the artists I respect, but listened at the breath of my town - I encountered not with the stone creations of some, but met oneself .Thus the sculptures awaken to chat with me and comforted me - the fine arts enabled me to see my own yard in the new light by questioning me where do I head.

I really focus on enjoying what I do so my thinking is only to accept work I really am enthusiastic about, with clients who respect my creative vision, that's what they hire me for, not just to press the shutter. I've worked with clients who literally were standing behind me explaining to me how to take photos. Never again! Big brands such as Adidas or Amazon are usually the ones who employ me but I also love to work for exciting start-ups.

Ideal Moment Photography is perfect for me personally because these people had made my memories much more outstanding with their excellent digital photography and amazing baby portraits which they had provided me. To capture a photograph of a newborn baby is an extremely difficult task but the professional photographer from Chicago were incredible in his work.

Specific photographs took away by Ideal Moment Photography of my newborn baby were extraordinary. Outstanding quality. The photographer of Chicago had made those exceptional memories remarkable for me. What a nice work!

I felt eyes on me as I was out in our garden. Sure enough this black cat which lives here was stalking me up in the apple tree!

We have snow, no big surprise seeing what time of the year it is. Stopping off at the horse camp the Robbins came over for their photographs to be taken. They made their presents known by coming right to the tree that was nearest me. There is two sets of photographs. This first set, this robbin was very funny!! Appeared to want me to see him/her feed on the juniper berries.

La photo sur toile est un matériau génial pour les photos numériques retravaillées. C'est vrai, j'ai deux mains gauches, mais je crée de superbes photos sur mon ordinateur et l'impression sur toile me permet de mettre en valeur mes talents artistiques !  

I did not know it was going to pour door rain on me! BUT seeing this is when my gelding loves to play...... His white is really white when he is not playing in the mud! Our mare is not as thrilled when it rains , but my gelding gets her going too. I do not make it a habit to play with my horses, they are bigger than me and accidents happen. I stand off to the side as they play. Rule is no acting up when I am standing around them. This is mostly my gelding for he is just a card when it is cool, wet and rainy.

Nature can be not so nice. Animals have to eat, this is just the way it is. Birds of prey are a favorite of mine to capture with my camera. I like to get them hunting and when I get a chance, to get them eating. I chose only ten photographs to show, from when I first seen this red tailed hawk eating, to when he flew off. It was not easy to pick out only ten photographs!! He/she even gave me the evil eye a time or two! When Guy asked me if I wanted to go somewhere I was up and getting ready!

Some days the Mule Deer show themselves, while other days they do not. Saturday was a day to show themselves, and it just happened to be a snowy day here in the high desert. The buck was funny, he did hide his head, or tried the best he could at first. After some time of just watching him, snapping some photographs he must of figured I was ok and not there to hurt him for he came out in the open long enough for me to get quite a few shots, adjusting my lens as I went. With his breath seen and the one antler looking like it does.... he is unique looking! The does and the older fawn stopped long enough for me to snap some photographs as well. For those new to Mule Deer. The Mule Deer are very big deer. They are called Mule Deer due to their very large ears.

I am very pleased to get these shots of this Northern Harrier. I got these a couple hours ago down the road where we have seen this bird and another or so in a pasture. These birds have been seen on private land and I do not trespass so when this opportunity arose today, while this Northern Harrier was not on the private land I took it! While doing my research on this bird I came to realize why this bird of prey had a problem being still for me. Blending in is what I try to do with the environment, but being quiet is another story. This bird realize on hearing as much as sight when hunting. This bird was hearing me coming! The male and female of the species look very different I found out as well. This Harrier is the male of the species. I thought this Northern Harrier was on some prey, however after looking over the photographs it appears to be on some grasses.

When I take photographs I take them for me first. I went really public with my photographs a little while ago on this computer, some of you have even been with me through this process. With all the stuff I heard about computers and all.... I just kept them off the computer. Now with over 92,000 visitors to my site I think I have hopefully given people a little entertainment sharing our life over here in Oregon? I am enjoying showing and selling my photography to the world on the computer! I am even doing photograph calls n....

Whomever tried to keep the roof up to date, kind of. At one time while at this spot a doe jumped out of one of those windows scaring the crap out of me since it ran right by me.

What is interesting to me, got me thinking (oh oh she is thinking again ha), we are central Oregon BUT we are not central Oregon. We are not included in many central Oregon happenings. People think of Bend and Redmond when thinking of Central Oregon.
