Nature is a wondrous thing. At times doing things that frankly, amazes us! The selenelion effect made these photographs come out rather neat looking, only with some cropping done. This selenelion effect is when both the eclipsed moon and the sun can be seen at the same time. Of course I get what I am given and these photographs are what I got. A well known fact is, I dont do night time photography. It was so cold Saturday morning here in Jefferson County Oregon!! Without much more talking, here are my photographs from the Lunar Eclipse here in Central Oregon.

Mt. Jefferson Sunset. This was taken almost right across the street from the KOA in Jefferson County Oregon. We go past the KOA quite a lot. So if the travelers / vacationers to our area were paying attention last night, this is what they saw.

What is interesting to me, got me thinking (oh oh she is thinking again ha), we are central Oregon BUT we are not central Oregon. We are not included in many central Oregon happenings. People think of Bend and Redmond when thinking of Central Oregon.

OHSRA stands for Oregon High School Rodeo Association. We headed over to the rodeo a little late. We seen a little of the goat roping when I was looking for a place that I could get photographs.

Most people always think the beach has its own charm to unwind, relax with friends, or even as a place to jog. The main reason of course because enthralling landscapes, color blue reflects the freedom and light to attract attention. We believe, when looking for a hunting certainly occurred to you to consider the beach as a destination. Beach always offers great photographic opportunities, but equal to the other hunting spots, the beach also has a level of difficulty and challenge for a photographer. Strong light may damage the camera, it is also one of the reasons why there are UV filters.

Living in Jefferson County Oregon one thing is true, we have fires. We also have VERY good fire fighters here! Everyone gets in the act. Water is turned on, volunteers stop what they are doing and jump in their trucks and off they run to whatever fire happens to break out!
