Google Trends is a way to search what is currently popular searches on Google's Search engine. This is a visualizer for that which means that it is an easy way to look at what is effectively a list of what the world cares most about currently. I could have written some huge philosophical thing about this link, but in reality it's a pretty screensaver.

So, it sounds as if you do NOT recommend using this? I don't need a pretty screen saver in my life, for sure. But if there is anything to be learned by the wisdom of the crowds, this might be a place to learn? I really don't have any skin in this game and just wonder what you think.

This isn't as throw as it could be but it gives you a good idea of what was popular through the 20's to the 60's.

Some topics that were covered in this website were; How in 3000 BC wearing nail polish indicated wealth and social status. Mixed from egg whites, gelatin, beeswax and gum Arabic. (To make different shade they added rose, orchid or impatient petals.) I was very shocked to find out that in 600 BC nail polish was strictly for royalty and those who were lower class and had nail polish on they would be sentenced to the death penalty. Also went into other time periods such as the 14th century and 1500-1990's explaining the trends that went on in those times. I thought this was a very informative website and I learned a lot from it as well.

This site is frequently updated and offers information on new and modern baking trends, popular ingredients, and new and constantly improving tips to create a nice final product.

A great magazine that covers a wide variety of discoveries and advances in technology.
