A good tool for story creation that features some sophisticated editing tools perfect for middle or high school students. Students begin with story starters or a completely blank book. The site includes numerous templates and images to insure a professional looking book. Mixbook also offers accounts designed for teachers.

One book that I find myself delving into every six months or so is The Story Factor by Annette Simmonds. She writes about a topic that is close to my heart - the power of storytelling as a way to be influential.

A useful resource for classroom or home use. There are activity guides etc for each book . Worth a look.

Very cool it uses augmented reality too thru your web cam. You build your pop up book (online version only) with commons vector illustrations then replay it etc.

A tool to create animations. You can animate the characters, change the background, movement, sound effects and emotions; you can add speech bubbles, interactive elements and music to your animation as well. You can resize things, delete, and move or change their places. Children can create their animated books that talk or they can write their own screenplays and turn them into animation.
