This website is a great resource because it provides 12 great academic search engines that teachers and students can use in the classroom. Search engines make it easier and safer for students because they narrow the search down, using only selected sites pertaining to the specific content area.

We used the online textbook because we felt like it was the most important and reliable resource we could use that would have all the materials we needed to include in our lesson this week.

Mashpedia fetches contents from different online sources in real-time, and aggregates everything in a user-friendly interface, presenting an organized outlook for every topic that includes: Information from Wikipedia, recent news, books, videos, images, social answers, twitter messages and related Facebook pages - all related to the topic in question.

The full book descriptions for these activities include: 1) introductory information that sets up the context of each activity; 2) step-by-step instructions on leading each activity in class; and 3) extension and modification ideas for adapting each activity.

This is a fairly simpler resource for evaluating information you uncover. The following is an example of this: the website includes the "5 W's" one should consider when validating a resource. These W's are who? What? When? Where? and why? Since this approach to questioning a source is obviously easier to understand and explain, it could be used for lower level classes to educate the kids on what to do BEFORE they use information or a source.

This site even includes an "Office of EdTech" component, which students can use to practice using technologies and their educational points. In the same way, teachers can use it to incorporate technology into lessons. This webpage serves as a means of finding resources, because it offers and describes numerous YouTube pages that present information on many needs and topics.
