I have had it with long-form journalism. By which I mean-don't get me wrong-I'm fed up with the term long-form itself, a label that the people who create and sell magazines now invariably, and rather solemnly, apply to their most ambitious work.
The open educational resources model, including textbooks, has emerged as a response to rising text prices, a need for greater access to high-quality learning materials, the proliferation of e-reader devices, and a trend in publishing toward electronic media. Many contend that educational resources should be open and that instructional models increasingly depend on open content.
To determine the ranking we count the times each file gets downloaded. Both HTTP and FTP transfers are counted. Only transfers from ibiblio.org are counted as we have no access to our mirrors log files. Multiple downloads from the same IP address on the same day count as one download.

There is nothing much rewarding for students than to see their accomplished work being published and celebrated with others. This is very much motivating and is a strong impetus for them to achieve more and work harder.
Of course individuals and institutions should continue to apply a critical eye to sources of information. I don't think there will be a time when we don't.
