Disrupting Operations of Illicit Supply Networks - 0 views

  •
Major goals of NSF's D-ISN include: Improve understanding of the operations of illicit supply networks and strengthen the ability to detect, disrupt, and dismantle them. Enhance research communities that effectively integrate operational, computational, social, cultural and economic expertise to provide methods and strategies to combat this complex and elusive global security challenge. Catalyze game-changing technological innovations that can improve discovery and traceability of illicitly sourced products and illicitly sourced labor inputs to products. Provide research outcomes that inform U.S. national security, law enforcement and economic development needs and policies.

Program supports two main types of research: (i) innovations in general-purpose methodology related to optimization, stochastic modeling, and decision and game theory; and (ii) research grounded in relevant applications that require the development of novel and customized analytical and computational methodologies. Both types of proposals must be motivated by an application area of interest to the program. Application areas of interest include supply chains and logistics; risk management; healthcare; environment; energy production and distribution; mechanism design and incentives; production planning, maintenance, and quality control; and national security

Secure and Trustworthy Cyberspace: Secure, Trustworthy, Assured and Resilient Semicondu... - 0 views

  •
Through this solicitation -- a track within the NSF SaTC program -- NSF and the Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC) are announcing a joint partnership in the area of Secure, Trustworthy, Assured and Resilient Semiconductors and Systems (SaTC: STARSS) focused on research on Design for Assurance. Specifically, NSF and SRC will support research on new strategies for architecture, specification and verification, especially at the stages of design in which formal methods are currently weak or absent, with the aim of decreasing the likelihood of unintended behavior or access, increasing resistance and resilience to tampering, and improving the ability to provide authentication throughout the supply chain and in the field.

DEFENSE PRODUCTION ACT BROAD AGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE EXPANSION OF PRODUCTIVE CAPACI... - 0 views

  •
This Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) enhances the DPA Title III effort by providing to potential offerors information and procedures necessary to identify domestic industrial base projects, potentially meeting the DPA Title III criteria, by using the white paper and proposal formats. Project Announcements for a specific domestic industrial base shortfall, issued subsequent to this BAA, is the main method to initiate a call for white papers, leading to an evaluation and potential request for full proposals. Project Announcement #1 is included with this initial posting of the BAA. Consistent with the law, the DPA Title III Program has derived three broad Focus Areas for potential projects. The Focus Areas are: Sustainment of Critical Production, Commercialization of Research and Development Investments and Scaling of Emerging Technologies.

Exceptional Flash Call for Proposals: Mitigating risk in the wake of the... - 0 views

  •
This Research Fund is opening a call for projects in the following areas: * Protecting vulnerable populations from epidemics and catastrophes, including COVID-19: be it migrants, informal settlements, workers in the informal economy, isolated people, people with disabilities, the elderly * Improving data collection and quality in health: how can data and technology help us get out of the crisis, understand it and mitigate it? How can it inform future containment and epidemic control? * Understanding the effects of confinement and social distancing: what are the effects of confinement and social distancing on society and households? What are the mental health consequences? The social and domestic repercussions? * Early warning and preparedness: how do we re-enforce our health infrastructure and ecosystem (including medical devices and drug supply) to be better prepared and how do we protect our health workers and caregivers? * Preserving the environment and our health: connections between climate change, biodiversity loss and the origin of viral disease including socioeconomic dynamics leading to infectious disease outbreaks and sanitary crisis; Learnings from COVID-19 for mitigating future related crises in climate and biodiversity

International Registration Plan (IRP) COTS Implementation Project - 0 views

  •
The State seeks to select, acquire, implement, and maintain a user friendly, web-based system for administration of Motor Carrier and Registrant apportioned registration, under the International Registration Plan (IRP), and according to the Ohio Revised and Administrative Codes [including, but not limited to: ORC Chapters 4501, 4503 and 4504, OAC 4501, and the International Registration Plan]. The integrated solution must be fully Commercial Vehicle Information Systems and Networks (CVISN) core compliant with IRP, and Commercial Vehicle Information Exchange Window System (CVIEW); compliant with Performance and Registration Information System Management (PRISM). The Contractor is required to be PCI-DSS Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) compliant. In addition, the desired solution will provide mobile solution architecture to accommodate Ohio's motor carrier and registrant community.
