The IPR Program plays an important role in the implementation of the National Preparedness System by supporting the building, sustainment, and delivery of core capabilities essential to achieving the National Preparedness Goal (the Goal) of a secure and resilient Nation. The IPR Program supports the Quadrennial Homeland Security Review Mission to Strengthen National Preparedness and Resilience.

The objectives are: â¿¢ Promote healthy rangelands and contribute to the legacy data that can be used by BLM to assist in assessing the condition and trend of rangelands on public land throughout the state. â¿¢ Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sagebrush-steppe restoration activities and the attainment of goals and objectives set forth in a projects proposal. Disseminate information and sharing of knowledge gaps that promote effective treatment strategies. â¿¢ Evaluate the need for adaptive management to ensure sagebrush-steppe restoration projects are meeting the goals and objectives and providing the habitat values established for the basis of the treatments and ensure that knowledge is applied to future habitat maintenance, enhancement, and restoration projects. â¿¢ Integrate the BLMâ¿¿s AIM Strategy and HAF into the monitoring efforts to minimize duplication and redundant data collection and consolidate monitoring to further inform national datasets. â¿¢ Ensure that data and information sharing is publicly available and useable to land management agencies, Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, and private landowners.

Given the importance of the region in exporting human food to the United States, FDA proposes working with a multilateral institution in the region, specifically the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), to develop an expert cadre to foster FSMA standards implementation. IICA has been a strong U.S. government partner in Latin America and the Caribbean and can effectively play a pivotal role in FSMA training in the region. The activities undertaken under this Cooperative Agreement would be targeted to training FDA's regulatory counterparts who commit to doing further training in their respective countries, academia, and industry representatives. By training regulators, IICA would be providing up-to-date information on FDA FSMA requirements, as well as good agricultural practice knowledge. If regulators or appropriate government institutions become trainers of the Alliance curriculum, they could possibly offer the training at lower costs, which can be a prohibitive factor for smaller business entities in understanding and implementing FSMA produce safety standards.

By this Request for Information (RFI) the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission in Malawi is seeking comments from all interested organizations regarding the currently planned Malawi Agricultural Policy and Implementation Activity (MAPI).

This program promotes cooperative partnerships and provides public outreach, public awareness, resource investigation and protection, on the ground knowledge of the development and implementation of natural resource programs and services. This funding opportunity will provided much needed critical management of public lands resource. With the technical support of a partnership organization, project level activities such as on the ground monitoring/ investigations for over 189,000 acres of recreation resource, 577,504 acres of Wilderness Study Areas and an estimated 7 million acres of wilderness characteristic inventory will provide BLM with needed data to better service to the public need. The BLM needs to meet our ongoing inventorying for recreational/ wilderness data shortage, visitor use data, GIS support and public outreach.

The Colorado State Office of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has been working with organizations on native plant projects on public lands for many years. BLM Colorado provides research opportunities by engaging cooperating partners to perform a variety of conservation and land management projects specifically addressing the importance of protecting native plant species on public lands. In particular, the Colorado State Office of the BLM seeks an organization partner for the purpose of conducting conservation and land management projects, to include, but not limited to, the following activities, as part of the BLM's Seeds of Success Program: seed collection activities on public lands located in Colorado; development of native plant materials; conducting studies and research to provide geneticially appropriate seed materials; improving technology for native seed production and ecosystem restoration; and providing hands-on experience to students and the public in the area of monitoring and managing rare plant species. This project will allow the cooperating partner to work alongside of BLM staff to further the understanding and appreciation of the our natural resources. BLM staff will provide mentoring and coaching opportunities for project participants to learn valuable skills in the field of botany and natural resources management.

Through the proposed undertaking BLM is seeking collaboration with a partner to eradicate and replace invasive plants, primarily targeting invasive cheatgrass, which threatens public lands within Sweetwater County, Wyoming (Sweetwater County).

Provide technical and financial assistance via partnerships to identify, protect and restore or improve habitats in priority coastal areas for fish an wildlife. Funds are used for habitat assessments planning, and coastal habitat protection and restoration on public or private lands.

The objective of this Task Agreement is to support and stimulate work and/or education and training opportunities for young adults through collaborative participation in Glacier Bay National Park & Preserve's Division of Maintenance. ARTICLE II - LEGAL AUTHORITY 16 USC 1723 (c), Public Lands Corps, authorizes the Secretary to enter into contracts and cooperative agreements with any qualified youth or conservation corps to perform appropriate conservation projects referred to in subsection (d) of section 1723. The Secretary may also authorize appropriate conservation projects and other appropriate projects to be carried out on Federal, State, Local, or private lands as part of disaster prevention or relief efforts in response to and emergency or major disaster declared by the President under the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5121 et seq.). ARTICLE III - STATEMENT OF WORK The project to be carried out is located at Glacier Bay National Park, as outlined here: * Brushing work along boundary line sections chosen by the NPS. Work will be done to clarify the boundary between State, Private, Native Corporation and National Park lands within the Gustavus Forelands District. Job will require working with chainsaws, axes, brush loppers and other clearing tools; plus pulling and scattering cut slash into the adjoining forest. * Routine trail maintenance, campground maintenance and roadside brushing to roads, trails and grounds chosen by the NPS.

Program as authorized under Section 379G of the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act (7 U.S.C. 2008u), as amended by the Agricultural Act of 2014 (Pub. L. 113-79). the purpose of this program is to provide financial assistance to address the continued unmet health needs in the Delta Region, through cooperation among health care professionals, institutions of higher education, research institutions and economic development entities in the Delta Region.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is soliciting applications from eligible organizations to manage a cooperative agreement to help educate the medical community on how to recognize and treat pesticide-related health conditions. The long-term goal of the project is to achieve improved health for communities at risk for overexposure to pesticides through outreach, technical assistance and training to increase knowledge and awareness of environmental and occupational health risks. This is a national environmental and occupational health effort solicited by doctors, clinicians, and state health departments. With this award, EPA seeks to build on the progress of previous project titled "From the Fields to the Exam Room: Integrating the Recognition, Management and Prevention of Pesticide Poisonings into the Primary Care Setting." The publication "Recognition and Management of Pesticide Poisoning" was an earlier product of the initiative. EPA is seeking applications to (1) provide continuing education, training and technical assistance to relevant audiences; (2) update existing, and/or develop new materials and resource tools; (3) conduct outreach to existing and new audiences to use materials and tools; and (4) develop partnerships and a sustainable network of stakeholders. EPA expects to provide an estimated $500,000 annually, depending on the Agency's budget, for a total of up to $2,500,000 for five years (2017 through 2022).

he objectives of this Agreement are to further development of change detection research using an existing methodology developed at Oregon State University by Robert Kennedy termed LandTrendr. The two networks both utilize this approach as part of their respective long-term monitoring programs and rely on its development as technology changes. In addition to LandTrendr, OSU has also developed a companion stand-alone program called TimeSync which is crucial during the validation of the LandTrendr-delineated disturbances. This tool also needs to be upgraded to be compatible with current Windows operating systems. This agreement would allow the I&M networks to work collaboratively with OSU to ensure I&M networks receive the specific tools they need to continue their respective long-term monitoring programs without interruption. Oregon State University will also facilitate easier use of LandTrendr for the public and other researchers because this service is being moved to cloud computing which will greatly increase compute speed, decrease the amount of data storage necessary at the network offices, and remove the need for high level computing within the office. The object of this agreement is to provide for a more efficient inventory, treatment, and monitoring of invasive plant and noxious weed infestations through joint activities on BLM-managed public and private lands. Invasive plants and noxious weeds have established on and migrated from one jurisdiction to another and are a mutual problem for both public and private land managers/owners within the local area. It is to both the local BLMâ¿¿s and Conservation Districts' advantage to share scarce financial, capital, and technical resources for these efforts.

The mission of the Arizona-Sonoran Desert Museum (ASDM) is to inspire people to live in harmony with the natural world by fostering love, appreciation, and understanding of the Sonoran Desert. The ASDM is positioned to help the Southern Arizona Resilient Landscapes Collaborative (SARLC) achieve their goals of enhancing landscape resiliency through the management of buffelgrass, a highly invasive plant species that is threatening the fragile resources of the Sonoran Desert. ASDM will provide public outreach and education, engage landowners in the fight against buffelgrass, and assist Saguaro NP in developing press releases and reports. ASDM will provide project coordination for specified SARLC partnersâ

(a) to successfully compete for funds from Federal grants and other sources to carry out educational, research, and outreach activities that address priority concerns of national, regional, State, and local interest; (b) to disseminate information relating to priority concerns to interested members of the agriculture, renewable resources, and other relevant communities, the public, and any other interested entity; (c) to encourage members of the agriculture, renewable resources, and other relevant communities to participate in priority education, research, and outreach activities by providing matching funding to leverage grant funds; and (d) through: 1. the purchase or other acquisition of equipment and other infrastructure (not including alteration, repair, renovation, or construction of buildings); 2. the professional growth and development of the faculty of the NLGCA Institution; and 3. the development of graduate assistantships

engage cooperators to support hazardous fuels reduction activities on public and private lands along the wildland-urban interface (WUI) in an effort to reduce the risk to resources on both federal and private lands from wildfire. Activities are being carried out by a variety of organizations in cooperation with state, local and federal agencies. Reducing the risk of wildfire to communities, property, wildlife, and critical infrastructure are essential to public and firefighter safety. BLM Colorado seeks cooperators to accomplish various activities to reduce the threat of catastrophic wildfire on public and private lands located in Colorado. Project work may include, but not be limited to, the following: hazardous fuels reduction treatments, including a variety of strategies; mitigation planning and assessments, including community wildfire protection plans; public education programs; expand community capacity to respond to a wildfire; and fire prevention activities. Through this funding opportunity announcement, the Colorado State Office of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) seeks to engage cooperators to support hazardous fuels reduction activities on public and private lands along the wildland-urban interface (WUI) in an effort to reduce the risk to resources on both federal and private lands from wildfire. Activities are being carried out by a variety of organizations in cooperation with state, local and federal agencies.

The Agreement is entered into for the purposes of educating youth about the valuable resources in Great Smoky Mountain National Park and the continued role they can play in the stewardship of this and other national parks. The project was developed in an effort to provide local high school and college students an opportunity to learn resource stewardship ethics by participating in career enhancing activities that promote leadership and participatory citizenship qualities in the youth.

The U.S. Standard Grants Program is a competitive, matching grants program that supports public-private partnerships carrying out projects in the United States that further the goals of the North American Wetlands Conservation Act. These projects must involve only long-term protection, restoration, enhancement and/or establishment of wetlands and associated uplands habitats for the benefit of all wetlands-associated migratory birds.
