EVE Gate will let players send each other mail and schedule events, typical social network features, but will also have game-specific features. Users will be able to keep track of other members of the game's player-run corporations and even manage contacts with members of allied corporations. EVE Online developers CCP hope players will use EVE Gate to organize in-game activities and conduct in-game politics without having to resort to forums or social networks that aren't affiliated with the game. 

En réalité, il semble bien que le fond du problème soit lié à l’incapacité à définir un vrai projet éducatif qui donnerait une place aux TIC. Critiquant ici même le terme « intégration » comme mal choisi à propos des TIC il y a plusieurs mois, je reviens à la charge en disant que ce terme est lui même le révélateur de l’exotisation des TIC en éducation.
